In Admission Process, For Gujarat Student Candidate should need to have GUJCET and HSC Science results through which he/she can apply for ACPC(Engineering and Diploma to Degree Admission Committee in Gujarat) Admission Process. One can also apply for admission through the JOSAA in all India category through JEE Mains Result. Cutoff: for ACPC: cutoff rank near 500 (for computer science) for JEE: >= 97 Percentile (for computer science).
Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen the Computer Science and Engineering Course because of my keen interest in technology. Faculties are good enough and every faculty almost has 6-7 years of experience. They all have good knowledge in their expert domain so students also get the opportunity to do research under the faculty. Teaching is intermediate, student need to do most of the things by their own. Management is very good and College commences Quizzes and written exams on monthly bases. The exam paper level is intermediate.
Internships Opportunities
On the University side, some of the companies will come for an internship but there are too few companies like Deutsche bank and Northern Trust. they provide about 50000-70000 stipend to students. Students must be ready to find an internship on their own although the placement cell informs about companies' internship programs on daily bases.
Placement Experience
The average Package of Computer Science is 11-12 lacs per annum. The placement ratio is almost 80-90%. The highest placement offered last year (2021) was about 30 lacs in amazon and media.net companies(on campus). One student got an international offer from Bloomberg LP of about 81 lac per annum ( Off Campus ). Companies like Northern Trust, Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank, Oracle, etc. visit campus for placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees: Total fees for the one year are 181000, Your Whole 4 years of fees are about 724000. there are some also other additional fees of 3500 for the semester end exams. Nirma University also provides Scholarships to students based on their merit list, from here you can avail of max 100000 Scholarships. The government of Gujarat also provides the MYSY Scholarship is about 50000 (for the tuition fee every year) + 12000. (for Hostelers every year) + 5000 (for books only in the first year). there are also so many organizations and trusts which provide Scholarships like FFE (foundation for excellence) if you are not eligible for the above based on merit. Nirma university provides the Earn while you learn to program in which you will get some tasks to do every week on campus through which you can earn about 5000 monthly.
Campus Life
Technology Insititute of Nirma University has many clubs per different domains like CodeAdda for coding enthusiastic. Data Science Club. NSS for social activity. these clubs are a very active community of students and they organize the event as per the student's requirements and comfort. Alumni support is also good. They will support you and guide you as and when required. Infrastructure, Classroom, Library, and Campus are so graceful. One can enjoy his/her college life. The library has a good amount of Books and Journals collections. Library also provides you to access research papers from IEEE. On the other side of the study. University also has a Sports club (AbhimaNU). this group also organizes events on yearly bases. I say that student can grow up their skill by joining these student communities.
