Remarks

I had to give NEET exam for admission to the MBBS course in 2018. I had secured an AIR of 6770 and availed reservation benefits of OBC. One can apply for neet examination form for 1500 rs on the official NTA website after the 12th class

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I love treating and helping patients. It fulfils my inner desire. The faculty ratio here in Pgims Rohtak is proportionally good with 1 faculty for every 25 students. Our faculty is quite experienced and knowledgeable. Pgims conduct examinations on an annual basis

According to NMC guidelines. the student has to complete one year of compulsory rotatory internship in every department for a stipulated period of time for which we get 17000/ month. The student is also posted in a CHC for 3 months

Fees and Financial Aid

Admission fees- 57000 rs/ year for 5 year Whereas hostel fees are- 23050/ year Students can apply for central scholarships as well as state-sponsored scholarships. After 4.5 years one had to do a one-year compulsory rotatory internship for which we get a 17k stipend

Campus Life

Our life is wonderful here at pgims. Our college conducts various fest on different occasions of the year. In October there is a medical conference which is the largest in the whole of north India. Teacher teaches by PowerPoint ppt

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility is very good. In 1st-year student gets a single room. The washroom is common for 1 floor whereas the mess facility is for 2 blocks. Mess food is very good. We run a corporate mess. Hostel fees are 23k which includes all charges

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I've always wanted to become a doctor. Every batch consists of 150 students and for every subject, there are at least 4-5 professors. All faculty members are of course doctors with varying degrees of specialization in their respective fields. Their teaching method is through PowerPoint slides for theory classes and practical's are held in respective labs as it happens everywhere else usually. As for now, due to COVID exams being postponed otherwise before the pandemic, exams were held on time. Exams in a medical college are always slightly more difficult than other courses otherwise if you study properly it's not that tough to pass.

The admission is done purely on the basis of your NEET score. A cutoff is declared after the NEET results are out. A merit list is taken out. PGIMS Rohtak as everyone know is one of the oldest medical colleges in India. It is also one of the reputed colleges. It was given an A+ grade. It provides quality education to the students who thought it might be lacking a bit in infrastructure and extracurricular activities.

Firstly this college is well maintained and patient flow is very good as compare to other dental colleges of Haryana,I also got offer from Swami Devi dyal dyal dental college punchkula and yamuna dental college, yamunanagar and pdm dental college bhardugrah etc they are giving me very huge scholarship but at there patient flow is not good for practice as dentistry is degree of practice you have to chose that college where patient flow is good or decent...Read More

I applied to all the government medical colleges of Haryana, chose this college because of the high reputation, abundant opd and decades old legacy! It is undisputed that pgims is the best college of haryana , however one can choose newer colleges for better infrastructure. Admission into the college is based on the neet ug counseling, both state and aiq Neet is the only acceptable exam Cutoff varies yearly, however upto 9k air in state quota and 3k in aiq can get you into this college.
