Remarks

There was no entrance test. My name came to the first merit list. Everything is available on the college Website. There was no reservation availed. The Admission process is way too lengthy. Authorities should look after convenience. Infrastructure should be expanded. More events should be conducted.

I chose this course because Marketing and commerce as a whole are very fascinating. There are a lot of scopes after the course. The faculty is good, and the students are cooperative but the number of students should be reduced. The term exams were conducted on time and the difficulty level is moderate.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There was no fee hike during the period and the cost of the study was moderate. I did not opt for any scholarship, Financial assistance and I did not get any job on campus. The college needs to take care of all the student's activities and make sure everyone is getting them what they want.

Campus Life

UMANG was the name of the college's annual fest. Many fests were conducted like a carnival in September, a dance fest in Jan, etc. The library had all the books and was always maintained properly. Everything was available in the classroom. The sports arena was well maintained and every indoor sports equipment were available. Bull's eyes were the club I was involved in.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

I applied to scottish church, jaipuria college and goenka college of commerce Got confirmed from the first two but bhawanipur had the best discipline , teacherd and a smooth easy process and the best campus.it has a ragging free enviroment which is best for me . I applied only for besc and I entered I didn't use quota admission Minimum masks for entry be 65% in best of 4 for evening batch whereas 85% for morning batch (can be changed on the points of performance and talents) there is no age limit for entry The admission process was easy i.e fill out admission form online check name on the admission list released pay the admission fee + yearly fees submission of form in college health check up in college collect your Identification card and you are enrolled in bhawanipur education society college...Read More
