No one can give any bad remark to such a university was founded by the Britishers. College management is really very good. One of the most finest things about the university is its library facility. Almost all the books of the courses are available in the library. There is also a digital library having the latest computer configuration. There is a central library known as Kanika library and other department wise library are available in the respective departments.

I am studying in BSC. Computer science because of my interest in the field of computer. The Selection in the Ravenshaw University is based in the mark basis of you 12th board examination. I secured 88.6% in my 12th board and I got the first selection in the University.

Course curriculum is really very good and beneficial for students. Their are total 6 semesters (2 per year). A student should take one subject as Hons and another as elective. In case of computer science Hons , you can choose mathematics or physics as your elective. Syllabus for every subject is available in the official Ravenshaw website.

No , Our college does not provide any internship programs. However the scholarship facilities are available for students.

As this is not a engineering college , campus facilities are fewer in this University. But companies like TCS, Wipro, Delloate , Tech Mahindra are camping every year. Students from Most of the IT related courses got hired in this. The package are generally between 3-10 lakhs.

This University is full of events Every hostels have their own function every year. Seminars are conducted every month. Youth day , yoga day and all the national festivals are celebrated here. Every month blood donation camps held here. This University is provide a good platforms for sports mans with many sports events every year.

As this is a government University the fee structure is too low. There is no fees for graduation in general courses only except a ₹2000 one time admissions fees. However some self financing courses are also available with the price range from 20000 to 50000.

Gender ratio is almost 1:1. Workshops , seminars are conducted by every department every month. Hostel functions every hostels are celebrated every year and they are also sponsored by good companies like Aircel, Vodafone and others. Students of all the religion study in this University and There are some foreign students too. The convocation ceremony in the university is celebrated in huge manner. President ,prime minister ,chief minister or the Governor became the chief guest most of the times. Every function of celebrated in a very decorative manner. Along with annual sports many other sports programs and matches are held in this university. Players from other states and colleges are also came to play to this university.

Hostel facility are really good there are almost 10 hostels. From these hostels, 5 hostels are for girls and others are for boys. Hostel fees are very minimal and 1000 per month. Every hostel Have their separate mess and food given are so delicious. The standard of living in the hostel a very good and there are three beds in a single room. This university having the most finest sanitation facility. The rental is same for the PG and UG students that is from 1000 to 1500 rupees.

Alumni network of this university is quite good and every year alumni contribute their best to the university.

Exams are not so frequently but lab classes are frequent. One mid semester exam is taken between every semester. Then there are 2 semester Every year. Exams fees are only ₹250. And result published in the website. All the exams taken in a very strict way in the Air conditioned rooms. I felt very comfortable while giving the exams.

Then go to apply section and fill the form for your desired course and submit your form with the payment. You can pay via debit card , credit card, net banking and DD. Then take a print out of the form and send to the Ravenshaw University through post. In the end of June or 1st week of July the selection list get published in the website with admissions date and course fees. Visit the college in the same date and get admitted. Admissions are taken place in the building known as 7th pillar of wisdom.

All the facilities are qualified PHD. None are allowed to be lecture with out PHD here. For each paper there are separate facilities are available. For ex.computer science having 4 papaers (3 theory and 1 practical) . There are 4 faculties for same. All facilities are good in their field and regular in their classes.
