FACTS ABOUT UIT-RGPV

UIT RGPV is offering many programs with a good curriculum they provide good lab and experiment facilities the faculties of uit rgpv are highly qualified almost all of them have done their MTech Or PhDs from prestigious institutes, and every faculty has vast experience the professors here have great 15_25 ye experience in academics the campus area is amazing with a campus size of 214 acres it provides the great library with more than 76000+ collection of books as this college is government funded and autonomous academically it has everything but coming to the placement opportunities I have to say that this college didn't provide u good placements as the average CTC offered is 3.5lpa which is quite low as compared to good tier -1 and tier 2 colleges so the only and major flaw is not even decent placements most of the students here either go for M-Techs through gate or opt for government jobs and some also go for off campus placement one of our senior has recently grabbed a CTC of 44lpa at fang.

Since UIT rgpv is an autonomous body so exams happen timely and the evaluation pattern is a bit tough because first thing 75% is somewhere down the line mandatory and the faculties are experienced so they try to give us a hard paper because they knew a lot and it's not like you can't pass the exam you can pass exam with good grades but you have to understand the concept in classes and should start studying at least a week or two before msts and est sincerely.

Since I m from the IT branch so now that even IT placements are not great mostly mass recruiters like TCS, and Wipro came and offers a CTC of 3-4 lacs which is not good enough. Sometimes big companies like Accenture, and IBM visit too and some other colleges also allow us to sit for companies visiting their colleges as most allow sometimes student of uit to sit for some companies visiting them like this time one of our senior grabs 44lpa CTC from Amazon by sitting in pool campus opportunities. Coming to my plans I will try for gate CSE in my 3rd and 4th yr and if possible will try for CAT too.

Since I m the branch opener of my branch so it simply means I had a good jee mains rank for this college, so I m eligible for almost all the scholarships. SCHOLARSHIPS- MMVY(mukhyamantri medhave Vidyarthi yojna) in this scheme anyone who is from the general category and had to jee mains rank under 1.5lakh and 12th board score >75%(85% for CBSE) can apply for this and can avail is the full tuition fee. Post metric scholarship for reserved categories You can get a tuition fee waiver seat get if your rank is under 90k and your family income is less than 6 lac. These are the all scholarships offered here at uit rgpv.

So coming to the clubs and societies., uit senior provides us with various clubs: ASPER- coding club, GDSC(GOOGLE developer society club) - provides a great coding community, Insync- provides a platform for singing, dancing, music, and other art forms. Phoenicia web dev, 3D, animations, etc. And many more.
