Remarks

There is no eligibility for the course. Just you have to pass your 12th board exam. You can find the application form on their websites and the application fee is about 15000 INR. There are no many dates you can apply whenever you want. The improvement is what I wanted that they should make only those eligible who have at least more than 80% in boards

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I have a great interest in this computer science and technology. The average faculty: student ratio is 1:100. The faculty are highly educated and the teaching methods of some faculty are great. The term exam takes place every about 5-6 months and they are quite difficult to pass.

Class Size: 64Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Placement Experience

After completing the 6th semester the student is eligible for placements. This year there are various top companies visited this year like Amazon, Google, Trinity and many more!! The highest package is about 67LPA and the average package is about 6LPA. 90% + of students are getting placement this year. My plan is to get a great placement from the university and to do the job after getting the degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The major drawback of this university is its high fee structure but they also compensate in fees when you have a higher percentage in exams. Like, if you have above 93% on boards then your first year is free and if you have a great CGPA above 9 in term exams then you get a scholarship of about 50 to 100% based on your rank from 2nd year onwards

Campus Life

Life on campus is great. There are many events which take place regularly on a campus like ethnic day, Bollywood theme day etc. The annual fest is called AYF (Amity Youth Fest). The library at Amity is world class and the infrastructure is also too great and the availability of books is great too. Classroom amenities are good. There is an event called Sangathan Sports meet that takes place every year where there is various competition takes place between different departments.

Placement Experience:

After 6 th semester you are eligible for campus placement. Many companies are comes likes Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cagegimini etc and they offer decent package. Highest package 3000000 and average package 400000 and profile offered as for company required. 80 percentage student get placement. Take a placement in good MNC company.

Actually I didn't research on the placement. But in college campus I saw many boards of placed students and the average package is around 4-4.5lakh per annum.and college data says about 90%of students are placed. I am preparing for both off-campus and on campus placement.

Our college offer good placement it has average placement of 11 Lpa. Highest package of 52 lpa in Google. There are many company like TCS, L&T, GOOGLE, MICROSOFT, IBM and many more visited our college. If you have CGPA greater than 7 then you are eligible for maximum placement drive. I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.

I actually chosed tgis college as the exposure was pretty good. AMITY UNIVERSITY - GUIDE 101 FOR B.TECH

I applied to SRM chennai and got the admission letter. but i had to choose AMITY because of lack of hostel accommodation in SRM for female students. When i got there they told me they had 0 rooms for so many students. I did not get a rejection, i had to reject SRM because of lack of hospitality for North Indian people at the reception desk.
