Review of IGDTUW

I applied for many counselling including jossa, uptu counselling, JAC Chandigarh, HBTU, Uttarakhand colleges, mmmut and JAC Delhi. My general rank is 40k in jee mains, I choose igdtuw over any other college only because of good placement records this is not the best college in every aspect but better than most of the colleges according to my rank from the placement aspect. I'm an outside Delhi student that's why the cutoff is also high for me to get admission to colleges like dtu and nsut so I decided to go for igdtuw. For counselling, we have to apply for JAC Delhi counselling which includes dtu nsut iiitd and igdtuw college counselling. In Jac Delhi, 85% of seats are reserved for Delhi category students and 15% for outside Delhi students.

I'm pursuing BTech in the IT branch of this college because have an interest in this. Currently, I'm in my first year. I think igdtuw is comparable to dtu and nsut in terms of placements and internship opportunities. There are almost 150 students in each branch. The curriculum is updated and teachers are also knowledgeable. Some faculties are not good but I guess that is bearable. In every year there is a total of 2 semesters and in each semester there are a total of two exams midsem and endsem level of exam is also moderate, you can earn really good marks even after studying 1 week before the exam.

On-campus internship opportunities are provided in the college. One could also work part-time in various societies of college as a web developer, graphic designer, etc. Off-campus opportunities are also shared with you. Companies like Atlassian, Google, Microsoft, Intuit, Uber, Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank, Morgan Stanley, Walmart, Flipkart, Salesforce, Adobe, American Express, Volvo, Expedia, Cisco, GE, Nestle, Siemens, Accenture, Myntra, DELL, etc. Visited every year for internship hiring.

Students are eligible for campus placement from 3rd year. Internships are required to be done at the end of each year Many big companies visit here during placement time and campus placement is almost 95%. Avg package is 13 lac per annum and the highest package of last year of the IT branch is 52 lac.

Few structure:- 1st yr fees: 96000, 2nd yr fees: 105000, 3rd yr fees: 115000, 4th yr fees: 125500, You can also apply for an education loan. there are also many scholarships for students whose family income is less than 2.5 lac /yr.

There are no. Of society from drama society to sports society to coding society and many more. These societies really help you in your overall personality growth and extra skill. These all societies are founded by students and run by the students.
