The college management is always money motive they will collect too much fees which is very expensive and also they are collecting more huge amount of fines and over charging for revaluation and exam fees

My 12th standard exam marks helped me the get admission in DG vaishnav college . I have scored 1116/1200 in my higher secondary board examination. My cut off marks is 784/800 which includes my main subjects such as commerce ; Accountancy ; Economics and Business Mathematics. I have opt for this college because it's near to my home

I have chosen b.com hons course it's treated at par and equal to PG degree m.com. In b.com hons i did internship for every semester. Its compulsory to do internship for 2 weeks in odd semester and 4 weeks in even semester. Those internships helped me a lot in working experience in a corporate company. I worked as a intern and learn many organisation structure and cultural values. After completion of internship i have a viva in my college and also need to prepare a internship report and clear the viva . In the viva my department HOD will ask questions on what I learned from the internship.

Yes my college will provide internship. My college has sign an MOU with many companies. So that every students will get internship in many big companies easily. I have even get a chance to do internship in SBI life and Karur Vysya Bank. In SBI life insurance i have also got stipend for a month which i worked their which helped me in gaining knowledge along with reimbursement of my traveling and lunch expenses

They are giving an excellent services in placement for the current year passed outs. Many leading top companies are coming to my college and recruiting students. Even big 4 companies also came and hired around 250 candidate from my college. Companies such as Deloitte ; E &Y and tcs; hiring many students

In my college every year we will conduct symposium a paper presentation event in inter college level we will invite students from colleges in and around Chennai for the paper presentation event and the next day to symposium we will conduct a cultural. Which includes many events such as ad-zap; face painting; mimicry; dance; singing; sangili; mime;etc

It is little expensive my college is charging Rs. 40000 for every year along with the exam fees and all other fees collected by my college will come closely to around RS. 200000 for the course completion for 3 years if hostel fees is included then 5 lacks for 3 years course completion.

Nothing no scholarship will be given or entertained by my college. The college won't provide or encourage students for any scholarship because they are only money motive .. The management is much more interested in collecting more and more fees as much as possible from students in form of academic fees and donation to keep on building some new blocks inside the college.

Only NCC is given the most important among all other extra curricular activities in my college. The gender ratio will be 55% boys and 45% girls. Its a raging free institution. No raging will be done in DG vaishnav college. Its strictly prohibited. The sports such as athletic and kho-kho is given more important dance and encouraged in the institution.

Yes it's somewhat OK. The infrastructure is average and the food is just OK to eat only for a month. Because they will keep on giving the same schedule food for all the days. The hygiene is also not good in the mess. The institution is vegetarian. And the non vegetarian food is prohibited inside the institution

No alumni meet will be conducted in my college.The college management don't have time to keep the alumni meet and encourage the unity and a good relationship between seniors and junior because it involves money and time . So they won't encourage it.

Its just like a normal university pattern. Since it's an autonomous institution the corrections will be little strict and the paper was also set in a standard to maintain the brand value and reputation for the course. In my college before every semester they will conduct a model exam and cycle test in every month. To make the students to prepare for the semester exam.

Through the cut off percentage scored in my 12th std . The admission process in DG vaishnav college includes initially the application form which comprises of the 12th std marks and community certificate. Then the short listed candidates will called for interview with the students and along with their parents. After successful completion within a week time the students need to pay the full course fees and confirm their seats.

Yes they are teaching good.Many faculties are coming for the respective industry. So that I have practical exposure in the subjects. The faculties helps the students to make the subjects easier through their practical industrial experience. And my college will conduct a guest picture once in a month. And also conference once in two months. Which helps me to solve the caste study in the examination. And gain a knowledge in subjects. All the faculties will provide valuable notes which is sufficient to clear the examination with distinction.
