B. Tech in Chemical Engineering at Parul University

The admission process was well managed and easy. For eligibility 10th and 12th pass out with a minimum of 60%. There are different ways to get admission, you can get admission by GUJCET and in management quota. The admission coordinator explained to me, in brief, all the admission process, career aspects of the course in the future, and fee structure. There were students who volunteer for the ease of the admission process they help in filling the admission forms and give campus visits to know more about the campus before getting admission.

My reason for choosing this course is because I was very furious and passionate about learning the different processes and researching to make a variety of products make life easier and helpful to others. Talking about the faculties are very helpful and friendly in nature and they have many years of teaching experience, many faculties are from renowned institutes such as IITs, and NITs. Now talking about exams, there are weekly exams every week of the semester, midsem after 2-3 months of the semester, and endsems at the end of the semester, you can easily qualify for the exams if you are prepared well.

The internships are also good at Parul university. Many companies give internships to students to enhance their creative skills, gain professional experience and also give a good stipend. It also gives leading opportunities to students to work with leading companies such as IBM, TCS, ITC, and Wipro.

Parul university is well known for its placements. Students from the 7th and 8th sem are eligible for placements. Many renowned companies have visited the campus for placement and internships such as ITC, Ultratech, TCS, and Wipro. The university claims the highest package was 18LPA. The average package is 3-5 LPA. Parul University offers 100% guaranteed placements.

The fees are less compared to other private universities in Vadodara. Fees for the first year of this course is INR 1,16,000 and it gets decreases every year. One can apply any state govt. scholarships (MYSY, Digital Gujarat, etc.), Central Govt. scholarship ( National Scholarship, etc.), and there any many scholarships offered by the university itself. University also provides many internships with very good stipends.

Campus Life in this university is excellent, the infrastructure is the best part of it, and students from different countries feel vibrant here. "DHOOM" is the annual festival in college, there are different days that are celebrated during this whole event. There are many technical fests that are conducted every month. The libraries here are in very good condition all the books related to the course can be found in the library. The labs are almost in good condition. Every type of sport is being played in the university, there are a variety of grounds for a variety of sports. There are different clubs that are run by the students which help in organizing extracurricular activities.
