Entrance Preview
The entrance procedure of our college requires a little bit efforts to be taken up by the student. One needs to crack the entrance exam of MBA if you want admission in the college. I preferred this college as I heard a lot about this college from the alumni and checked the ratings too. The course structure is different than other colleges so I found it interesting.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course of the college is quite innovative and designed so that the learning experience of the student can be maximized. It depends on the student whatever to choose to learn and adapt to the environment of the college.the course is for two years and constitutes of four semesters. the aim of the course is To continuously strive for excellence of global standards in teaching and research activities. Thus, it has provided me and faculty members the facility of Research & Development to grow their full potential.
Internships Opportunities
At the end of the first year of their programme, i was supposed to take up a two-month internship assignment (summer & winter training) with an organization. This is a compulsory component of the curriculum for the completion of the programme, and is designed to provide exposure to the working of organizations, as well as a chance to apply the learning at HIMT in solving real-world business problems. The benefits to both sides are obvious: You get strong analytical capabilities for a two-month period, without increasing your permanent head-count.
Placement Experience
Many placement opportunities are available in the college. A student needs to be active and aware about their study topics and general industry information and placement is quite easy for them.
College Events
The events organized by the college are quite a lot and students have a lot of opportunities to excel in them. I loved to take part in events such as singing, dancing and others as well.
Faculty
There were a lot of guest lectures organised by the college senior faculty members that helped me gain a lot of practical experience. Regular workshops and seminars were also organized.
