The process of admission was through an admission test conducted by AMU itself, Basic eligibility is that you must have Physics, chemistry, maths or Biology in your 10+2, Application forms and the last date of admission will be available on the website by the month of February or March. Reservation is provided to minority students and sc/st, obc.

BSc in chemistry is a very research-oriented course which has high scope in foreign countries. Faculty-student ratio in the college is very good that's why professors pay attention to each and every student in the class. The teaching methods of the faculty members are excellent and they are very qualified, most of them have received their Phd and Post doctorate degrees from foreign Universities. Sessional exams were held every month for the students and two end-sem exams were also conducted

Internships are provided to students who perform well, there are clubs in our department such as the American Chemical Society which helps students get internships under professors and in some companies for industrial exposure

Most of the students in Bsc don't opt for placements, since they are not so good, they opt for master's degree in foreign Universities or IITS and IISCs, apart from this the University has a Training and placement office for those who want to get placed in companies

AMU is considered to be one the cheapest central universities in India, it has an excellent return on investments, and the University has its training and placement office which conducts annual placement fests. On-campus jobs are average rated with a median package of approx 3-4 Lakh a year. Since this is a Central University it has many scholarship programs for needy students such as the Dallas fort scholarship, Texas, USA, AMU old boys school association scholarships from Saudi Arabia and many more

There aren't great tech fests over here as compared to top IITs and NITs but the MBA department organises its annual fest named Numaish, other than this the University celebrates Sir Syed Day every year. Maulana Azad library is considered to be the largest Library in entire Asia, it has a huge collection of books, journals for research scholars and newspapers. The classrooms are also well-equipped with smart boards. You can get great exposure to sports over here. There is almost every sports club over here starting from Cricket to horse riding.

Hostels are not provided to everyone since the hostel administration is not that good, but every facility is provided in the hostel. The rooms are mostly 2 bedded and 4 bedded with separate Almirah for all. Meal quality is average. The hostel over here is very cheap but its registration is quite complicated.
