I chose this college as it is near, to me residence do a less time would get wasted in travelling and i would be able to utilize that in doing more fruitful work.
Placement Experience
Placement and job opportunities are very high. Many good companies of different sectors visit the college and recruit qualified and deserving candidates. Companies like TCS, Cognizant, WIPRO, Patni computers recruit more than or about 100 students each, every single year.
College Events
Independence Day & Republic Day. These two days, in NICMAR, are celebrated with zeal and patriotism that can stem only from such a diverse and patriotic community that thrives in NICMAR. These two days are marked by flag hoisting ceremonies and a host of cultural programs that are set in the spirit of patriotism that rides high in NICMAR.
Campus Life
Campus has great internet browsing service for 24 / 7 hours is provided to students at all campuses. Each student is provided with the Institute’s e-mail ID for academic communications. The campus at Pune is completely Wi-Fi with high speed internet connection.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel have accurate room size for a single student. Each room is allotted to a single student. I am a day scholar so i don't now much about mess facility and hostel facility. Hostlers access to wifi from 3 pm in the afternoon till early morning. But the amount of data is limited to 500 mb per day.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are helpful they help juniors whenever required in every possible manner. They share their experiences and tell us the do's and don't so that we don't get into problems and learn from their mistakes.
Faculty
Teachers of the institute are well qualified with a lot of knowledge but they are bound by the rules made by the college. Faculty only teach what is prescribed syllabus of the college and complete formality. They don't get proper time to teach the prescribed course properly so they can't afford to tell us things in more detail.
