Deserving Selection

Entrance mode is by JEE MAIN, conducted 4 times a year Admission by Jossa. Reservation is there for SC, ST, OBC, and PWD candidates. The scholarship is also provided to them satisfying certain criteria. The present Admission process is overall good.

Computer Science is an emerging course and there are a lot of future scopes. Faculty to student ratio is around 1:30. Faculties are highly qualified and teaching methods are good. Mostly focused on practical learning rather than theoretical part. Term exams are based on class teachings. It was easy to pass for a person who learned all the concepts taught in the classes.

Some of the companies that+ offered internships are: 1. Mathsworks - the role is a web developer Stipend - 55000/month 2. Amazon - the role is Software Developer intern. FTE job offer based on internship performance. Basically, good Data Structures and Algorithms skills are a must and Deep knowledge about projects you showcase in your resume.

A student is eligible for placements from the end of the 6th semester. Various companies had visited our institute. Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Slice, Sprinkler, Atlassian, and Mathworks are some of the premium companies that visited our campus and chose only a few candidates satisfying their criteria and skills. Highest Package - 82 lakh by Atlassian - SDE 1 Average package - 19.4 lakhs Around 85-90% of students are placed and the rest are interested in further studies such as MBA, M.Tech, or PhD. My future plans are to appear for the gate examination and do M.tech.

The fee structure includes tuition fees, one-time admission fees, hostel fees, Gymkhana fees and electricity fees approved by govt. Of India. To be honest, as the number of admissions each year increases, a certain amount of fees is also increasing. The scholarship is given to students belonging to SC, ST, OBC, and PWD, and categories. Also, State scholarship MMVP is also provided to students satisfying certain criteria.

Annual Fests at IIIT Jabalpur were a complete fun package for all. IIIT Jabalpur has 3 annual Fests. Cultural Fest - Tarang - November Sports Fest - Gusto - December Tech Fest - Abhikalpan - July A big library is there where a lot of books and journals are available for students to read. Every week new books and magazines come and the record is updated. In sports, a total of 9 clubs are there. Athletics club Cricket club Football Club Volly ball club Basketball club NSS and Jagriti Social group is run by students. In NSS, we take care of the surrounding environment, animals, plants, and other necessary things required for a better green environment. In Jagriti, a group of students is active in teaching children belonging to rural areas.
