Remarks
The admission process was clear and fair, through the IPU entrance examination. 10 percent of seats are reserved for management quota, so some students can bypass the entrance examination. Everything is available on IPU official website. Improvement should be made to make the college more lively and happening. More events and societies should be there. The sports teams are there but just for the sake of it, there's only one ground and even that is underutilised.
Course Curriculum Overview
In one year there are 2 semesters of 6 months. In every semester there are two examinations. One is internal and the other is external examination. The difficulty level is medium and one can definitely score well by doing the previous year's questions. There are Akash books available for it.
Placement Experience
Campus Placements and companies start to visit from the start of the final year itself. Many companies do come like Deloitte, TCS, Wipro, sap, etc. at an average package. And the best one is DE shaw which offers 21+ LPA. A lot of students get placed on average entry-level packages and a lot of students don't show interest even after sitting in placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees in almost all departments are over 100000 per annum. It's increased a bit for next year. Also, financial assistance is there from the government or university. You have to apply for it and based on your household income, you can avail of scholarships.
Campus Life
The campus is small but campus life is pretty chill. The crowd is cool and all and you can make friends. There's a small canteen to eat from. 1-2 major Fests happen on campus which are interesting and fun. Books are provided by the book bank itself or you can issue any particular book from the library. Sports are negligible if you are even mildly serious about it, joining a club outside would be better. There are drama societies, a society for computer science, and many small ones like gaming and others.
