Remarks

There was an exam called srm jee but I didn't take it I just walked in for the admission and got it. It's pretty easy if you want admission just walk in and ask for admission to your prior branch and they will give you. I even got a scholarship after considering my 12th marks.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty are friendly and very helpful. Per curriculum, it's pretty outdated and old. You can't expect more than that in an Indian engineering college. They will be exams every month you'll have a very tight schedule. Exams are pretty easy to pass through.

Placement Experience

Srm campuses are famous for their placements you will get at least 1 offer before you leave the campus as I heard from my seniors and alumni of srm ramapuram as I'm going for higher studies I didn't do a lot of research on the average package and all.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost of study at srm ramapuram campus is pretty average. For ece it is 1.5 lakhs per annum so it is not too high. And there will be CDC and books fees of 35k. As I mentioned earlier I got a scholarship based on my marks. I got 94 percent in 12th so I got a 50 percent scholarship of my 1.5 lakhs. Jobs and stipend I didn't get yet because I'm still in the 3rd year.

Campus Life

Infrastructure is pretty normal you don't have anything amusing in srm ramapuram just a mere urban campus with 10-11 buildings. If you are expecting sports fests and cultural clubs please choose another campus you'll not get anything here.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

4 years that changed my life
