College with Good Standards.

College has good academic standards. Faculties are from reputed colleges. But ragging present.

I took EAMCET exam and secured 1230 rank. College was closer to my native place and already my brother -in - laws studied there. Director was former JNTU vice chancellor. Heard the good standards of education. So i have opted.

Course standards are as per the sri venkateswara univeristy standards. Courses are updated as per the latest market trends in computer science. In 2000 year itself we have java in final year. All latest courses are part of the curriculum like web technologies and database technologies.

During my period in the college, it was not providing any internship. As it was only bachelor of engineering may be college not provided any internship.

During the 1996 - 2000 period , very less companies used to come for placements. Satyam and wipro used to come and select the students. Some companies , don't remember the name exactly, used to come every year and select the students. But very few students showed interest to join as it is mainly working on legacy systems.

Every year we have inter college sports tournaments. Students participated from other colleges. We have very good and play ground . Spacious rooms for indoor games also. Freshers day celebrated to greet budding engineers. Farewell to final years students organized. Year end celebrations also made.

During my period (1996 - 2000) government is monitoring the fees structure. Based on the EAMCET rank, we have choice like govt quota or private quota. Govt quota fees is 3750. Private quota is 26500. there will be another quota which is NRI quota. for this fees is very high.

College is not providing any scholarship facility. Also, college is not providing any loan facility also to the students..

Gender ratio is very good. Students used to come from different areas even from hyderabad also. But caste feelings present among the students. Fightings between student communities of different castes happened frequently. But, now it is very less compared to earlier. Earlier ragging also too much. Incidents are there where students committed suicides.

Hostel is very good and neatly maintained.Total we have 3 hostels. For first year students there is separate hostel. Fees is nominal. Only problem is , it is located in remote areas. There is no hostel for girls. Hostel food is good. dedicated staff is there for food preparation.

Seniors are good and helpful. But some seniors are very harsh and won't helpful. Those familiar in ragging will help the juniors.

Exam structure is good. We have annual exams. In between we have 3 internals. in these 3 internal, best 2 will considered to add in the final exams. some times students feel syllabus is vast and but no choice. Expecially computers students have very vast syllabus in electronics.

Through Engineering counselling i got the admission. Based on the rank , Technical board scheduled the counselling in hyderabad. For my rank , counselling started on 4th day. Initially screening happened and after verifying the all documents like eamcet rank card , intermediate certificates they allowed me inside for councelling. for my rank i have only two choices to join in computer science branch. I have opted this college.

Some of the faculty are very experienced. They have selected from premier institutes like IITs and RECs. But some of the faculties are selected from the previous students of the college. This some times creates problem due to their lack of teaching skills.
