If you have done your 12th from a regional board then you have to appear for SUET (Sharda University Entrance Test). You can easily find and track the application form, fee structure, and deadline dates on the official website of Sharda university (Sharda.ac.in). You are appointed with a regional office guide who is responsible for helping you from appearing in the entrance exam to submission of admission fees, he will guide you until you are finished with your admission process. If you have a CBSE percentage above 90% or JEE percentile above 75 then in special cases you are exempted from appearing in the entrance exam, and you are provided with direct admission. Based on your score in the entrance exam your admission status depends. If you are a local to the university you can directly visit the counseling room on the university campus. Based on your 12th class percentage you are provided with a scholarship for 1st year. Above 90%- 50% scholarship 81-90%- 30% scholarship 75-79%- 10% scholarship

I chose engineering because of my abilities in problem-solving and my interest in programming. The faculties at the university are very friendly and helpful. Universities have all the bases covered in solving a student's problems as they have teachers appointed for every aspect of issues within the campus. The Head of the Department always arranges interactive sessions to ask about students' problems and issues and solves them by taking matters into his own hands. The professors are well qualified and are awarded the subjects in which they hold their specialty, The faculty-to-student ratio is also not high so every student gets equal attention in the classes. The labs within the university are well-equipped and always updated with the latest requirements. The term exams are easy to pass as the questions are asked based on the course outcomes mapped in the syllabus which is provided at the beginning of the semester by faculties.

Sharda Launchpad provides internship opportunities in the startups registered with Sharda University in which you can work in a role and gain a stipend from the startup. After you are placed in the companies the companies provide you with internships and a stipend for a year. You can take your projects to numerous hackathons by being on the university team and can gain prizes and certificates.

Students become eligible for placements in the 7th semester. Companies start visiting the campus in April and most of the students are placed before September. The frequent and top visiting companies are Josh, Magic Pay, and I GATE. The highest package for the academic year 2021-22 was 25 LPA and the average placement for the year was 9 LPA. University provides 100% placements as the student left after September are trained and placed in the mass recruiter companies. My plan is also to get a campus placement and become financially independent. University provides Technical Training sessions in the 5th and 6th semesters as a part of the preparation for the placements.

The fee structure is justified for a private college providing ample courses with brilliant faculties. Every year fee is hiked by Rs. 5000. If you have received any awards in the field of science for any innovative idea then you are provided with a 100% scholarship from the university, otherwise you have to be good in academics to gain scholarships. In the first year, the scholarships are provided based on the 12th percentage and then you have to maintain your scholarship by gaining above 8.5 cgpa in each year. The university provides ample job opportunities, 100% of students are placed by the end of the 7th semester and in the 8th semester, you do your internship with the company in which you have been placed and earn a stipend. The average package provided is 9LPA.

Sharda University campus has been rated A+ by the NAAC inspection team. The campus is always happening and cheerful. If you are a Bollywood fan then you will be thrilled to know that now and then, a shot takes place within the campus. The library is well equipped with books and journals of your course and interests. Classrooms are also well-furnished and the infrastructure of the campus is also beautiful. Extracurricular activities are conducted regularly as the university provides students with ample clubs and student involvement. The annual fest and celebrity night is named Chorus which is conducted in December-January.

Sharda University conducts an entrance exam for admission known as SUET (Sharda University Entrance Test) which is an online-based exam consisting of MCQs based on aptitude and the requirements for the course you have opted for. The university doesn't conduct Group discussions or interviews. You can easily prepare for the test by taking help from the mentor provided by the university regional office. He provides you with the syllabus. If you score more than 70% on the test your admission is confirmed.
