Remarks
The eligibility of BCA is you should have maths or IP in class 12. You can find out the admission form, fees, and dates on the FIMT website itself. As I general category student I can't avail of the reservation benefits but if you are one you should definitely grab the reservation benefits by talking to the college management. The admission process of our college is quite decent so I don't suggest any improvements to it.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good and the faculties are also friendly as well as helpful. I choose BCA because I had some interest in computers and the IT field too. The faculties are well qualified and helpful as well. You will have to face internal exams one time in your semester and the internals is not very difficult to pass if you have studied enough.
Internships Opportunities
The companies which offer internships in our college FIMT are, Amazon, Flipkart, Genpact, and Reliance and there are many more including some of the best Multinational companies. Yes, you will be asked to make some projects in your final semester depending on its outcome you will get many opportunities as well.
Placement Experience
Depending upon the students who want to opt for higher studies or want to get placed just after completing BCA then you have to tell the college and then they will arrange an interview for you. The percentage of students getting placed is more than 50%. After completing BCA my plans are will go for higher studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, the fees have increased this year by 8,000 rupees. I think that a small amount of money will be increasing every year. The college also provides you the scholarships but they will not take guarantee that you will get the scholarship or not. You cannot get a job on campus but they will surely provide you with an internship.
Campus Life
The campus life is good and the college will organize one fest annually. You will find all the books and journals in the library as the library has as much stock. For extracurricular activities and sports, there are so many societies for students to take the part in that. There are some social groups that are run by the students.
