Overall college is quite good in its disciplinary terms. Placements are average to good Academics need to be improved with good and updated curriculum Overall one of the best college if One is considering taking admission in IP univesity n The college rank 3-4th among other colleges in the university

Maharaja Surajmal Institute of technology comes under GGSIP university and GGSIPU hosts its CET for Btech course in various colleges affiliated to it.The CET is fairly normal and most of the syllabus can be covered with NCERT. -->In order to get a good rank solve previous year papers which is easily available and that would be enough. -->Marks varies a lot and marks are not disclosed so one can get give a clear cutoff of how much marks to score to get a particular rank. -->most of the good colleges are available under 5000 ranks (for cse)

The course structures is same as most of the other colleges in india. First year is mostly a common year for every branch.Second year onwards student gets into branch specific courses.Not much focus is done in research. The Academics is more like School partterns

College provide various opportunities in part time and full time job opportunities.Microsoft GD hires interns from The college for the post of associate software developer and mostly students get a pre placement offer.Other companies like Josh also provide internship There are various startup internship fair where student can grab internships

Placement is good and better than most of the colleges in IP university.Companies hiring Microsoft (Associate software developer - 10LPA) JOSH tech group (software developer - 6LPA) CVENT (various posts) (4-9 lpa) Libsys (Software developer 6lpa) SAP, ACCenture , infosys, NEC tech etc( 3.5 lpa).

There are Various technical and non technical societies which are active. The college has one major technical fest called Avensis. Cultural fest called Gensis Environmental fest called Enva The fest attracts many students from across Delhi and is considered on of the most successful fests. Technical fests host a lot of competitions where students can showcase there skills and win awesome prizes.

Fee structure is moderate with annual fee of 92000 - 96000 College has a bank in campus where fee are deposited first year fee is divided into two parts where 50000 is taken at the time of admission and rest of the fee is taken when the student joins.

The college doesnot provide any loan facility.However students can get scholarship if they come first in their stream. The amount various from 10 - 15000.

Gender ratio is fairly good on campus,Campus house a bunch of extra curricular activities.Various sports events take place and participation to inter college events also takes place. College has its own football team cricket team and basketball team College also has its own Music Band.

Hostel facility is good with 2 hostels one for boys and other for girls The room facility is good.Rooms are average sized with 2 people in a room. Mess facility is also good, with average to good food mostly. The hostel is next to the college ground and hence provide a good.

Alumni network of MSIT is quite strong with people working at big firms like Flipkart,Amazon,Snapdeal,Zomato,Josh ,Microsoft,OLA,FoodPanda,Samsung,Wingify,etc Seniors are quite helpful and are always willing to help in placement related activites

Exam structure is mostly divided into sessionals. There are two sessionals in a semester which covers half of the syllabus in each one. Then there is an internal practical followed by external practical exam At the end there is an end term semester exam. The two sessional exams makes the whole semester busy

Admission process is online and after getting rank you have to fill up prefference sheet.On the basis of the rank secured, the highest possible proference will be alloted to you.There are mostly 3 rounds of counselling in which you can fix seats. Each subsequent round will get you a better college.sometimes there is spot round also which is an offline round which takes place when seats are still left after three rounds of counselling.

Faculty are good in there respective areas, and takes keen interest in the research projects and other projects Academic support is really good, and teachers try to help as much as they can .Teachers encourage student for open source contribution and other Educational sport.Good mentorship is provided by the teachers
