Good institute with limited facilities

Overall college is good but need more improvements in all field specially in the teaching. The environment of the campus will give you the real feelings of being in college not in school.

THROUGH COMEDK EXAM I OPTED THIS COLLEGE. MY RANK WAS 12856 AND GOT COMPUTER SCIENCE STREAM. It's top college of South karnataka. In karnataka student must choose computer science as they will have a better chances of getting placed in good companies.

Courses offered are good but with limitations. Like in pre final year you will may or may not get your subject of your choice like you want Game theory but you may not get it coz of limited availability of optional subjects.. Overall course is good with four year programme with eight semeste. Research based study is not there in most of the karnataka BE colleges.

No internship.. You will have to do project work in your final semester.Project is done by students according to their area of interest in their respective stream. According to their performance marks are alloted.

Placement is average. Limited good companies came for campus placement.All the small companies came for placements provide very minimal packages like ctc of 1.4 lakhs to 2 lacks.Good companies like wipro nd tcs provide around 3 lakhs ctc which is average. But it's sure that will get job either by in campus or off campus placement if you have no problem with low package.

The college have good events organised on state and national level.out of all events Aura is celebrated at grand level where renowned people and celebrities concerts are organised. Sunidhi chauhan, KK etc have visited this college till date.All department have their own cultural and sports events.

Total VTU fee is 1.25 lakhs with 20000 college fees.Hostel are provided to limted first year students as hostel is small. Hostel fee is 15000 per year and 2800 per month for foods.Fee for exams are extra like 600 each semester.Books are not provided by college.

No loan facilities or scholarships for non karnataka student but ya there is reservation for 2 students in each semester for students belonging to seven sisters state of India like manipur,meghalaya etc.Even karnataka student from SC and ST have fee concessions.

Here girls ratio is higher. You will have little problem of South and North and it will reflects in you internal and labs exam too. limited extracurricular and labs facilities. Only few people gets sports facilities not for all students. Limted competition in different fields are organised and have no progress in research based competition

Hostel is below average with average vegetarian food.limted rooms so only lucky people get the hostel inside the campus. It's 4 bed sharing room with common bathroom. If students dint get hostel then they have to go for rooms. There you can get rooms at min 4000. But best option is to take flat with 4 students coz its comfortable and have options of maid for cooking foods.

Alumni meet are organised by college in different states each year. They are awarded and their thoughts are listen to improve the interactive teaching process

Exam are conducted by VTU university. Each semester consist of 6 subject and 2 labs. Total marks of each subject is 125 marks out of which 100 are of university exams and 25 marks are awarded by college through internals exam. Out of 125 in each subject you hav to score min 50 marks to get passed.

You have to give COMEDK for non karnataka student or else CET exam. Notification are realesed in the month of March or April and exam are conducted in the month of June. All process are online based.Based on your rank counseling are conducted and according to your rank you get the college of your choices

Average faculty with little ego in them.They lack interactive ability to teach students as you will find in all most all colleges of karnataka. Their knowledge is according to exam point of view not according to present market and research scenarios. Over all you will get average marks but with limited practical knowledge.
