Remarks
The admission process is pretty simple. All the necessary details like exam date, timings everything will be sent to you via email. You need to fill out the SRMJEEE form. In that, you need to provide all the details like the year of passing classes 12 and 10, the percentage you got, your address, and stuff like that. The application fee costs about 1300rs and the application form is valid for all the SRM campuses. While filling in the details be careful and select your preferences accordingly. There are no reservation benefits I availed so I don't know about them. The admission process is smooth and easy. You'll be allotted a portal site where everything will be available your hall ticket and etc.
Course Curriculum Overview
Btech Biotechnology It's a new course on the SRM Ramapuram campus. But they have managed it pretty nicely. The course and curriculum for every campus are the same so no need to worry about that. The teaching techniques are also the same. I have 65 students in my class and a total of no. Of teachers are 5. Mostly all the faculty members hold Ph.D. degrees. They have lab experience also. There are 3 CLAs every month. And then the end sem. If you have listened In the class then it's easy for you to pass.
Fees and Financial Aid
College provides scholarships on the basis of class 12th and 10th results and also how you perform in the entrance exams. The fee structure is assigned at the start of the year and will be the same for the whole 4 years. With the tuition fees, you'll be asked to pay book fees and Career development fees too.
Campus Life
Campus life is just good. If you have good friends you'll enjoy it. The campus is In the city so you can go anywhere and everywhere. Everything is near the campus area. During the covid years, there was no fest conducted but now it has all started again. Clubs are conducting a lot of programs on the regular basis. There are a number of clubs. But the con is you cannot join other department clubs. The clubs are departmental not on the basis of interest or talent. The library has a lot of books the main thing is it has previous year's question papers which will help you at the end sem. SRM also has a digital library. Sports activities happen here. You just need to get in touch with the sports instructor. Students are very active here in every field whether it's tech or cultural.
