college of national Importance

Our college established in 2005. in 12 years it made tremendous growth but we are still looking for more branches in our college because write now we only have three branches in Bachelors of Technology and one design course. I hope that our college will soon come under top 25 colleges in India.

IIT JEE and my score was 155 and CBSE Board 12th standard percentage was 97%. I opt for Computer Sc and Engineering because I had a great interest in Computer Science. The admission process through IIT JEE entrance examination was very smooth and systematic , so I hardly faced any problem.

In the first year of my B.Tech, courses for all the Bachelors branches are same then after 3rd semester courses are different as per the discipline wise. I had Computer Graphics, Machine Learning, Natural Language processing as my electives in subsequent semesters. And in the 4th semester I had computer Sc main subjects in depth like Designing and Analysis of Algorithm, Database Management System, Operating Systems and may others. And we also have a option to do research on any of the subject with the respective faculty that helps us to introduce us with the research background at the early stage.

Yes it provides six month internship to all the students. Students have a choice to either do industrial intern in my industry or do six month project based internship with some college faculty, stipened depends upon the faculty and project.Some of our faculty are part of Summer research fellowship Program run jointly be three science academies IAS-NASI-INSA. here they provide 16k as a stipend for two months.

In CSE we have 100% placement companies are Oracle 4lk/annum, Vassar 6lk/annum, Coviam 6lk/annum, IBM, Canon, Worksapp, Freshocart and many more.For Mechanical Engineering we have brahmos , Trident and many other.Many of our students also get opportunity in top research Institutes.

we have three events in a year one each for technical , cultural, and sports festivals. For cultural we have Tarang central India's largest festival, for Sports we have Gusto and for technical we have Abhikalpan. this year we have Inter IIIT cultural + technical fest that was organised in PDPM IIITDM Jabalpur in which participation was more than 1000 students from all IIIT's.

Fee structure is very feasible, as its a college of National Importance so the amount of money we are paying is totally worth for the quality of facilities we are getting. In a semester of 2014 year students, I have to pay around 45k per semester including mess and hostel charges. And there is lot of fee exemption for SC/ST.

Our college provides MCM merit cum means scholarship to the students who have CPI greater the 6 and their parents financial income is less than 2.4lakh.2k scholarship is also provided to top 15% meritorious students of each branch.

Girls are still low as compared to male students. But still we live with love and peace with each other, We have many clubs in our college for different activities. For technical we have programming club, electronics club, robotics club and many other and for cultural we have literary club, arts club and many more. Here we have different activities like debate competition, JAM , Group discussions, and Robocon , etc.

There are total 3 hostels in my college and One for girls and two for boys.For fourth year students, M.Tech and PG students single rooms are allotted and for remaining two sharing rooms are allotted. Hostel fee is 6k per semester and mess maximum fee is 10k per semester but due to holidays it comes around 8k. In each Hostel we have three floors and there are sufficient rooms for students and new hostels are under construction.

Yes, we have a good network. We have one Alumni Meet Association in our college through which we remain connected with our alumni. We also have facebook group for each year in which almost of the students of each year are connected . Seniors also help us in placement they recommend us in their companies

In a semester we have two quizzes for each subject and one mid semester exams and one end semester exams for each subject and in a semester we have 5 subjects and one professional lab and we have One lab practical every week in which 10 labs are evaluated and two labs are introductory.

First when my IIT JEE t=rank was received then i went to iitjee portal to fill the counselling form. here we have to fill the priorities of our college and then according to our rank we have given the college. There were basically four rounds and one spot round. So its a choice of the student to lock the allotted college in any round, if student don't lock his alloted college in first round then he is eligible to seat in second round and depending upon the seat availability if his rank matched with any college of higher priority then he will be given that college, same procedure also happens with other rounds.I locked PDPM IIITDM Jabalpur in the first round itself and I confirmed my seat in Delhi center after that I went to Jabalpur to took admission and then my admission process got over.

Most of the faculties are Phd's. They are very helpful and always ready to give students the opportunity to do projects on their research interest apart from academics projects. These projects are very helpful for students because through projects we get the practical knowledge of studied subjects.
