College is hard but not as hard as life without your degree. I just have to keep myself telling that. If you wish to have a good academic record better chose this college because of this college values academic more than any other.I say you will get 80% Academic rest 20% only other stuffs. The campus is ragging prohibited, its one of the plus point for a fresher.

I had joined in the management quota. I chosen mechanical engineering because its one of the evergreen courses which is having enormous job opportunities.

4

College is affiliated to Anna University Chennai. Being a top university in Asia, it is having a good flexible curriculum. There are many electives which really helps for research like fundamentals of nano science, Unconventional machining process etc

Internships Opportunities

Regarding the internships, we have to find our own. We done internships in Fertilizers and chemicals travancore limited, Kerala state road transport corporation, Hindustan Newsprint Limited. Stipend depends on the duration of internships. We payed almost Rs 3000

Placement Experience

2

Placements in our batch was little bit on the lower side. There are some companies offered placements but we didn't chosen because of the lack of low salary packages but most of them are currently working in either public sector companies as trainees or in private sector companies

Technical fests organised by different departments in college. Our technical fest name was Al-Mech, it was well organised. Loyola fest and college annual day was the cultural fests in our college, participation from freshers to seniors well noted. Caleda fest was the biggest cultural fest where our college remains the champions.

Regarding the exams, we had daily tests on a regular basis. Our day starts with the daily test. We have to clear it otherwise internal marks will be affected. University conducts exams on semester wise, the exam schedule was really nice so that we can study without tension

Admission

I came to know about this college via an education fair. The admission process was simple. I have to remit an amount of Rs 10000 for booking the seat which is later refunded to my tuition fee. Admission form was available at the office which costs around Rs 500. After certificate verification once you are eligible we have to pay First sem tuition fee.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chose mechanical (robotics). As they euipped with new equipment's of robotics I have inspired a lot and chose to go with this course. This course helps to understand the mechanical engineering an also robotics. It helps us to understand about the mechanism in hardware. It helps to understand about robot infrastructure and about drones. For this course if there is more depth in robotics subjects than it can better. The frequency and timing is good as they maintain a certain period of time gap between the exams and the difficulty level is also good. If studied for a week we can understand up to some level and have a chance to pass the exams.
