Remarks
Admission is based on the entrance exam - JEE MAINS. Application details can be found on the website of JEE MAINS website. College as a government one provides reservation benefits as a government rule. The admission process can be more streamlined by providing counselling to students regarding various courses.
Course Curriculum Overview
Exams were conducted perfectly on time. Odd semester exams were conducted in the months of December and even semester exams were conducted in months of April and May. The difficulty was moderate. As the syllabus was taught in the class itself and was covered holistically.
Internships Opportunities
Various internship opportunities are provided by the college including some in government PSUs. Although the role in a different internship is an observer but adds different skills to students like knowing their sector properly and the work they are supposed to do after their studies.
Placement Experience
The college provides decent placement opportunities. Students become eligible for placement from the 7th semester onwards in some companies and for all companies from the 8th one. The average package varies from branch to branch with over-all average package of 4-5 lakhs.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure was 75000 per year in 2016 but as of now, it is 135000 annually. However financial assistance is provided to students based on their caste. The campus also provides placement opportunities with an average placement of about 60-70 per cent per batch.
Campus Life
The college provides different clubs like Ekelictika is a cultural fest club, and Samar is a sports one. Also, intra-NIT competitions and collaboration are arranged for students. With overall satisfactory facilities.
