Remarks

eligibility criteria are you should pay 12 with commerce and have a minimum of 40% marks. you can find the application online and the fee for the application was rs. 100 there was a reservation system for sc,st and obc students and for specially-abled students as well.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose that coursed because I wanted to involve in business and almost there is 1 teacher for every 60 students. and the faculty were well qualified they were at least completed there masters and some are Ph.D. too. there was one internal exam for every semester and one university exam for every semester.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 15000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

the fee is not so high 100 to fill admission and almost 3500 for admission and per semester almost 5000 it's very affordable for every student to afford this much of a fee and the college doesn't charge any extra for the library.

Campus Life

there was a freshers party every year and a farewell for every student which are getting passed in this year which is organized by the junior students of the college. there were enough books to read in library classrooms were too good there was good availability for indoor games.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. Course Curriculum Overview:

The aspects of the curriculum which really influenced my decision was building the foundation of accounting to holding expertise, which was aligned with my goal of studying CA. The curriculum used to be upto date which give us a real time exposure. The exam used to take place in every 3 months.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
