College management is decent but it can be improved. Corruption is a major issue in the management which the govt should address. Faculties and students are trying their best to improve the image of the college and they need more support from admin.

I took jee main where i scored 150 so i joined svnit as it was second best nit declared by mhrd. Coming to svnit, it is situated in surat , a city that is famous for its textile and diamond industry. Also the atmosphere is also good. Surat is a peaceful city. These are some of the main reasons to choose svnit

The course is mostly practical. In first year you'll be taught all the subjects but afterwards your study will be branch specific.you will be allowed to do your projects alongside your studies. If you want to go in research, teachers will be very pleased to help you. But most of the research work will be done by you and you need to work very hard as you will not get that much time after academics to give a lot of time to a specific subject.

Yes svnit provide internship in maths physics and chemistry. The internship period is about 60 days and you have to submit your cv in your respective department for the selection.

Tpo cares about placement and training. All the placement details are uploaded on the website. The average package for computer science students is highest while lowest for civil engineering students.most of the students are selected by companies and some are working in their dream companies.Many are selected on the basis of their cv for international companies also. They also have foreign exchange program.

All the cultural fest of hindus muslims Christian like Krishna janmashtami Ram navmi Deepawali Holi Eid, Christmas are celebrated in the campus College has its own Summer fest Winter fest Welcome ceremony for first yearities Sports fest . Also every individual department has its own technical fest. Besides hostels have their hostel days.

It provides scholarship for Gujarati students also education loan facility is also provided by sbi which have a branch itself in the campus. Except that college does not provide any scholarship to students

The gender ratio is not good. Almost 7 boys have one girl . But the college have students from all the places of India. All the religious people are equally accepted. Not much politics in the campus which i think is a great positive. All the extra curricular activities are promoted. I think India is the most tolerant country and there is no issue of intolerance whatsoever

Hostels are very good. First year has given gajjar bhavan. Wifi facility , gym, reading room, computer room , table tennis room, chess room, hostel library are the main facilities provided by hostels. Mess food is good. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided by the mess. All the 7 days have different food items.

Yes seniors are very helpful. They guide you in the best possible way and alumni network is good so that one can easily get internship and job in the companies.

The exam pattern is based on grading system. At the end of the semester, end sem examination are conducted the weight-age of which is 50%. 30% wright-age is given to mid sem exam. In end sem exam all the syllabus is covered while in mid sem almost 40 % syllabus is covered. You are awarded grade points for every subject which are multiplied by credits of the subject. And finally your pointer is awarded.

Firstly. You need to get 75% or be in top 20 percentile in your respective board. Then you have to pass jee main with good marks. More marks means you will get your desired college and desired branch.Then please fill the counseling form carefully as u' ll get upper filled choice and there is no way to go downwards from there. Then if you are allotted any seat, you have to pay fees and go for document verification. You can go to physical reporting to your allotted college.

The faculties are permanent and decent. All the faculties have their own research going on with teaching. Some teachers are excellent but some are very poor. Government have to look into this matter. But even the teachers who don't teach well have vast knowledge of their respective subject. The behavior of teachers should have been improved
