Remarks

Really an opportunity for the opportunist and one willing to learn, otherwise college will make such rules and regulations that you are forced to learn, even if you are not willing to learn. Very expensive and treats college students as kinder-garden kids.

Entrance Preview

AIEEE was the examination I had given back in 2011 when they were IITJEE and AIEEE two separate examinations were given for entrance. I had scored in between 100-105 I believe making my rank AIR less then 1 lac. The courses I wanted to pursue were CSE and ECE, and as per my merit it was upon me the course I do choose. The admission process was easy with one difficulty that registration form is only available offline, which I believe is is the case today.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course structure is quite good with very good syllabus and mentors in the college. If you are willing to learn there is enough to learn with the projects that are given almost every semester based on the subjects you learn. Although going with the trends in the industry it demands more of the programming aspects of knowledge as well where college needs to improve.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, there were many companies came for students to take internship but there were only a few students who were able to make up for one of the really good one's. Luckily I was among one of them. The range of stipend was from 4k-25k including/excluding staying and other benefits from companies. Some of the companies that took students for internship were Infosys, Philips, Amazon, etc.

Placement Experience

4.5

While coming to the placements, the opportunities were mostly belonging to IT sector as it's always booming. I would say 95% of the deserving students were placed successfully, many of them in 2-3 companies. Companies like Google, Amazon, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Ericsson, etc. Good companies packages varied from 18 lpa to 12 lpa while other IT regular companies offered regular package 3-6 lpa.

College Events

5

The events used to happen more often then one would believe. The thing is you need to participate in many of the events even if you are not willing to as in some semesters you need to score marks as well based on your co-curricular activities. As there are many events so many opportunities to conduct them, enjoy them and participate in all sorts of cultural and technical fests.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of the college is quite expensive for almost all the coursed since the time the college became deemed University of its own. And apart from that the events/co-curricular activities are paid. The university imposes varied sorts of fine on doing anything against the discipline. Exam reevaluation and reappear forms are also quite expensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

The scholarships that the college offers are mostly based on very high merit when you score in semester above 9 points out of 10 waiving off the tuition fee of subsequent semester. Very very difficult to score and maintain. Loans are mostly dependent on banks which you can avail from anywhere.

Campus Life

3.5

Everything from gender ratio being almost equal to campus life is very awesome, if you want to stay in the campus, then there are many sports, events and extracurricular activities keep on happening. Student from about 4-5 states visit the college. If you want to leave the campus, then you are trapped as nothing is outside the college it's in the fields and if you want to leave in middle of the day you again need to take permissions ultimately making calls at your home.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel facilities available in college was very worse the time I had taken admission, but as the time passed the authorities changed many many changes to each and everything to make it pleasant, but it came at a cost making it expensive and expensive. Wardens will eat your head-out for going out of college for taking permissions with every call to your parents. Food used to be bad but it improvised over the time. One thing is straight don't expect food good as home cooked food.

Alumni/Alumna

The college has maintained a good alumni network with the students by throwing up get-together parties in major cities of India throughout the year and sending their teachers in parties for a meet up, taking even votes from students about who they wish to see in the party. Being helpful is about maintaining on your relations, networks and how good you can use them, otherwise willing to help.

Exam Structure

The exams structures keep on changing year wise as you study. Also the university keeps on improvising or modifying their exams structure. Labs occurs very often throughout the semesters and the course making it very learning. Exams sometimes theoretical and otherwise with MCQ's takes the load off.

Admission

First you need to fill up the registration/admission prospectus form that is available mostly offline with the book depots and college, follow up with dates and schedules for counselling based on your scores and ranks. When your name is announced in the counselling you can proceed with selection of the course, document verification and payment of fees.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty and mentors in college have the mix up of both the really knowledgeable and lazy knowledge-less ones. Willing to help, and learn along with the students as there are many things which even they are not aware of as the era is changing too fast. Very strict on your attendance and discipline.
