Great learning experience

Everything is more or less very managed with help stretched out at every step. There's a hundred percent guarantee to improve your personality level to a new level if we stay here for 4 years, I would certainly miss my college by the end of the fourth year.

I took IIT JEE, BITSAT, and JEE Mains and scored 118, 254, 129 respectively. I gave VITEEE which is the entrance exam for VIT University and scored pretty well to enter in 1st counseling. My rank was 2919 and my score was not displayed. I opted for this college because I was keen on pursuing computer science

The course structure is very detailed and defining with every aspect taken care of. The beauty lies in the fact of managing a large number of students and it cannot be done without a good curriculum. Research is promoted excessively in the college and students are encouraged to be given more marks if they opt to research on a particular topic which is very good when I give my personal opinion

Yes, my college does provide an internship and I have a senior who went for it and has described the experience as very satisfactory. I do not know very much about it because of the fact that I didn't go for it myself.

Placement and job opportunity are fabulous, in fact, last year's result was 100% every student sat in the placement and was offered a job. Major companies to come and hire students are Wipro, TCS. Flipkart amazon and google come too but take above excellence par students. The average income lies between 8 lakh to 10 lakh for a computer science student

There are two major fests conducted by our college, one technical fest called the Gravitas and one cultural fest called Riviera. Hundreds of events, workshops, and hackathons are being conducted during both these events. The cultural event stands 5th rank in India which is spanned over 4 days with Bollywood celebrities and Bollywood singers coming in for their performances to entertain the students

The fee structure is distributed in 4 phases. The students of the rank between 1-20000 enter in phase 1 and the fee is about 11 lakh which is kind of feasible given the education system spanned across India. This progressively increases up to 25 lakh for phase 4 students and this kind of fee becomes very expensive for a B.Tech course.

I haven't availed of any scholarship or loan facility but there is definitely a facility called VIT scholarship (FAS). I do not know much about it and I know the fact that we have to upload our income certificate to avail that. This must be done for the students who cannot afford to study but are very talented. The option comes on the website of the college.

The gender ratio is almost 3:7 in favor of boys. There are numerous workshops and events carried out throughout the year. There are various clubs and chapters to conduct these workshops and events on a regular basis. This also includes various sports competitions for every year and various prizes are also given to the students who emerge out as winners or a certificate of participation is given to the students. Various speakers from all over the world come to direct the students in various workshops and are very encouraging. Various people from various regions and races come out to integrate our college.

Hostel facilities are very good indeed with almost everything, including water, clean bathrooms, regular room service, proper chairs desks, and beds. Mess food is average and one couldn't hope to get it better because nobody can give you better food if you are paying​ 60 bucks per meal. It's edible and that's more than one can ask for.

Senior students help in various club events and even projects. They are a great source of inspiration and the experience which they share is invaluable

The first 70% of the semester is chilled out with regular exams being conducted with a good period of the time interval between them, but the last 40 days or so become very hectic because of the pressure of completing projects assignments and studying for the term-end, yet if we try a little more the time can be managed.

VIT conducts its entrance exam annually called VITEEE, the year I appeared for VITEEE had 40 questions each of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The score isn't displayed and only the rank is given. The first 20,000 rank holders appear for counseling phase 1 and I went for the counseling phase 1 as I held a rank of 2919. Then the procedure is the same as in most colleges, we get to choose our stream and branch on a first rank first-come basis.

The faculty of the college is keen to bring out the best in students and are very hard working. With 3 assignments 1 project 2 mid terms and an end term, a teacher has to check all these for as many as 120 students. They are very supportive and can be contacted anytime through phone or email.
