Remarks

I appeared for NEET which is conducted once every year. One can get the notifications on nta.nic.in. Application fees vary for different categories which one can find out on the official site. Reservation does play an important role. I belonged to the general category but applied for the defense quota which helped me a grab a seat in a government medical college. Cut off for state quota is pretty low, I applied from Maharashtra. When I went to the college for the admission procedure, the staff members were very cooperative and guided us along the way. Overall it was a good experience but it would have been better if there were more staff during admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I am very passionate about the medical field and always wanted to pursue a career in this field. There are enough faculties for each of the subjects. For anatomy, we have at least 6-7 teachers, and for physiology and biochemistry as well. Faculty over here are highly qualified doctors and their communication skills are pretty good. They teach very passionately and make full use of time. Terms exams are conducted every 3 months. And the first term exam was pretty difficult to pass knowing we were new in this professional course.

Placement Experience

5

Our college is pretty forward when it comes to placements. The average placement package is 700000 per annum after mbbs. 75-80% of campus placements happen from here given the good results of the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure varies with categories. For general categories it is 127000, for obc and ews, it is 70000, for sc and st it is 17000. We do have many scholarships here awarded to students based on their financial status. Med engages scholarship, NEXT, and many others.

Campus Life

5

There are tons of fest conducted during the first year. We enjoy it a lot, especially the process of organizing the fest. The library is a great help for students, there are all new books available in it and it is open till 2200 hrs for students. Sports day and batch day are complete fun for students to release their stress.
