Remarks
Students are required to apply through an official website after the 12th results are announced. Based on the cutoff and caste criteria selection list will update. A total of 3 lists will be announced and in case of open positions after the 3rd list spot admissions are also given.
Course Curriculum Overview
Faculty members are very kind and helpful throughout the 3years. They will help you as much as they can during the placements and also in internship. Clear guidance is given in prior regarding curriculum and requirements from students.
Internships Opportunities
As per my knowledge, Ernst & Young offered a paid internship for the students for 2yrs and additionally gave them the opportunity to join the organisation after graduation. The department provided permission for the students to leave early to get to the company
Placement Experience
Students who scored above 60-65% are eligible to sit for placements. The top 4 are included in the companies that come for recruitment and packages are even more attractive but the filtering process is to stipend. But the placement cell helps the students to get placed by providing on-campus and off-campus placement opportunities. Personality development classes are held for 10 days before the placements start in the 5th semester.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are various scholarships and financial assistance provided but mostly they are based on caste criteria. Student from low-income families but is a general category may not have an opportunity for scholarship. But there is certainly financial assistance provided by the college setup under different funds that can be availed by students with good marks irrespective of caste.
Campus Life
Life on Campus is best as students have the opportunity to participate in n number of activities and permissions are given by the department. Sports, Internships, cultural intra-collegiate and inter-department. Students are required to participate in atleast 2 clubs during the period as it will be included in credits. Overall there is equal importance to studies and extra and co-curricular activities. There is huge support from the professors and even principal
