The admission process at PSIT is clear and smooth. While eligibility differs from course to course, good-rank holders often receive fee waivers. Major eligibility for joining a stream of engineering is at least 65% aggregate in the 12th standard. The admission process is also timely and quite convenient for parents and students coming from different cities. PSIT can work on the application process since the first part takes the maximum time.

I chose B.Tech in Computer Science. I am a technology enthusiast, and learning technology was the core reason behind my pursuing of engineering. The curriculum is fast-paced, a little more challenging towards the end, and has a proper bifurcation of subjects. The faculty at PSIT is one of the best in the entire Uttar Pradesh. They know their material to the core. The faculty club majorly has acquired their Masters's degrees from respective subjects and some of them are Ph.D. holders as well. Engineering is fun and a great learning medium, and at PSIT with the mid-terms, and pre-university exams they tend to grill the technical aspects of students till the very end.

Talking about the placements at PSIT, it is one hell of a ride. Students go through quality training before sitting for the placements. Right when students enter into their 6th semester, they are eligible for placements and can sit according to the pre-requisites asked by the companies. Companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, MRF, etc visit the campus every year. The average package given by each company is around 5-6 LPA. The cities have also gone up in the last couple of years. Placements are the best part of any course and almost every student is placed before we come to the end of the course. Also, if you have plans to study ahead, the decision is respected by the college.

The cost of studying at PSIT for B.Tech is around 1.5-1.8 lakhs per year. It also depends if a student opts for a hostel. There has been a hike in the fees in the last couple of years for almost every course, but at the same time - PSIT has provision of fee-waivers. Students who have acquired good competitive ranks in the competitions tend to receive good waivers. You might end up studying for absolutely free if you have an excellent rank to show. Also, the placements are good and competitive. They tend to bring out the best in us with their pre-placement training.

PSIT is known for its lush green campus. They have an on-campus canteen and cafe which are affordable for students. PSIT hosts a yearly FEST and it goes by the name Ignitia. It is fun-packed and every year students can groove on some hits by celebrity singers on campus. The library at PSIT has almost every book you'd ask for and the classrooms are air-conditioned and energetic. If you are a sports enthusiast- PSIT has its inter-branch volleyball matches quarterly. They also have other games like badminton, and basketball that you can play inside the campus. Talking about the clubs- PSIT holds many literary and social clubs that students can be a part of depending on their interests and passion.

Hostels at PSIT are the comfort zones. They are clean, tidy, and ventilated. The hostel premises are the safest zones for girls and boys. There is a warden in every hostel building who is available any time of the day to cater to any problem student faces in the hostel. The meals served at the mess are good and the timings are convenient for students.
