Eligibility for this course is a B.Sc. degree in Biochemistry or another subject of Biological sciences with chemistry atleast 4 semesters in bachelor's. It comes under CUCET PG, separate exam is conducted only for m.sc. biochemistry at Bhu. Usually, the application starts in June. With application fees of almost 1000. The reservation policy is according to the central government scheme. The admission process is very smooth.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is very flexible and core biochemistry is being taught here. In two semesters you have to take 1 MOOC in each semester of 2 credits. All courses are having an in-depth concept of biochemistry. Total 8 faculty 2 RLS fellows, total 55-60 m.sc. students are there in the department. All facilities are well-qualified and internationally renowned. All have post-docs from reputed institutes like MIT, Stanford, and NIH. All exams are conducted on time and questions are asked from the content which is delivered in the classroom.

Class Size: 29Course Fees: INR 3500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There are two types of seats here. Students having good ranks got admission on regular fees which is almost 3500 per year. And students having slightly fewer marks got admission in a paid seat they have to pay 50,000 extra per year. Students are eligible for all central government and private scholarships. Earn while learn scheme is there to give part-time jobs to students.

Campus Life

Bhu has instituted and all have their separate annual fest such as kashiyatra of IIT, Ims has its own fest. Akansha of i.sc. And common annual fest of the entire bhu is spandan. The Department library is very nice. It has access to all course-related books. E-journals are available in the library of Bhu. Well-equipped classroom with digital board and full AC. Sports events are organised regularly and several literary events are also being organised. Several social groups do exist on campus. Bhu connect website is being run by students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course was quite comprehensive and relevant. They covered all the fields of life sciences in depth- molecular biology, recombinant DNA technology (RDT), microbiology, biostatistics, instrumentation, and immunology, among others. The combination of both foundational and applied topics was the whole reason I chose the course at SVSU. In terms of preparationfor the real world applications, the curriculum does a great job in building clarity and founding strong concepts. For students aiming to prepare for GATE, NET, and higher research projects to delve into, the syllabus provides a strong foundation. Regarding improvements, the lab work could be more one-on-one rather than a bulk implementation, and more hands-on experience needs to be added to the course in comparison to the theoretical knowledge. Speaking of the examination pattern, it works in semesters, with the first one occurring in December, then around April, and the last one around June-July. Other than that, there are internal tests held bimonthly and project submissions before the examination session.

Yes tha curriculum are well structured and good for every exams because I have to go to civil field that's why I chose due to there interdisciplinary studies and connection to every exams and filed The curriculum is good and prepare for rural society and also provide further research opportunities for future in the rural technology and society The curriculum needs to be for technical and entrepreneurship based There is 3 hour exam for semester and the level of questions paper in exam is moderate to hard .

If you are really passionate you will get amazing opportunities to get experience.

I have applied in 5 college such as BHU AU DU BBAU and vishwa bharati Many for BA and BSc course through CUET UG, I got BHU and AU but at the end I have switched to BHU because of it is closer to my home and well known for me. I got seat in AU but same time BHU also, so I have to decide one. I put my seat for upgradation and then BVoc HTM. From 2022, there is only one entrance exam to take admission in all central state University in india. That is CUET common university entrance test conducted by NTA.
