Eligibility --you have to pass the 12th class with above 70 percent and it may vary. admission process--you have to give an exam that is JEE. First, you have to pass JEE MAIN and also have to shortlist for JEE ADVANCED, one of the toughest papers in India. On the JEE main basis, you got selected for NIT and on the JEE advanced basis, you got IIT. if you got any of these then your counseling process is going to start within 1 month after JEE ADVANCED result and counseling is held by JOSSA & then at the last round they give you a final college and you have to visit their college site for further information(it is only for those you got IIT in the final round).

There is no particular reason to choose this course. I just got this course in my final round of JOSSA. Faculty: student ratio is roughly 9:15.IIT KANPUR has approx. 410 highly experienced faculty members and the student population is around 6000. All faculty members are well qualified. some teachers have amazing teaching styles and some have not. each semester takes around 3 months. Midsem, quizzes, endsem are part of the exam but there is a quiz almost every week which also have a significant weightage and semester are much more difficult than any other college .30-40 percentage is the pass percentage for every course, which very difficult to pass if you got less than 30-40 percentage.

quant and Optiver that I heard the most because they gave you a very good offer and they give you around twenty to thirty lakhs for three months in an internship if they were happy with your experience they also gave you a placement without an interview.

after the sixth-semester students are eligible for campus placements. James Street, quant is most the top companies that came for placement and each gave you different offers. The highest package is around four crores which is a software company and the average package is around twenty lakhs .seventy to eighty percentage students got placement. I want to work with a software company after getting the degree

fees--fees are almost the same just like other colleges .around 125000 is semester fees for GENERAL, OBC, and 30000 is for SC, ST. scholarship--MCM, FBM, and other scholarships are also available there for students whose parents' incomes are less than 2.5 lakhs per annum jobs--around 70-80% of students got placement in their fourth year. The average placement is about 20 lakhs. and the highest package is about 4 crore in this year 2022.

ANTARAGNI cultural festival is generally held in October. TECHKRITI technical and entrepreneurial festival which is generally held in march. UDGHOSH-sport festival which was also held in October. a thousand books are available there in the PK KELKAR LIBRARY and newspapers, and magazines are also available there. There are 20 classrooms (excluding department classrooms) all are well-designed and the infrastructure is also awesome. All sports are available there and each sport have mentors they guide you and teach you. all clubs whether it is programming or robotics are available there and all are run by students, for more information you can search club websites you just have to type iitk in the end for every search

you have a choice, you can stay in two personal rooms or three personal rooms. In two-person rooms, one almari, one fan, bench, two beds, two hangers, and one chair, and similarly for three-person rooms. food quality in the mess is quite good and the menu is also well designed, each day has different items and on Sunday we have a special dinner. the hostel is only for the student who got admission to this IITK. There also has a guest hostel. around 7000 per month is hostel charges. currently, I am living in the hostel
