Remarks
The exam is taken through Comedk. Here for the students of Karnataka, the admission is based on Kcet and also management quota is there. The application is easily accessible on the COMEDK website. Reservation for only Karnataka State students.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose the ISE course because the placement of this course is very good and also we have the highest package in the college. The faculty-student ratio is quite good almost 1: 60. Two internal and 1 external exam. Easy to pass all come from notes.
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunity is there in the college and also some students are getting it in the 4th semester. You have to do projects in the 4 years, that is a major project and one minor project in the 4 semesters.
Placement Experience
The students become eligible when they are in the 4 semesters. But that is rare in the college. There are almost 200 + companies visiting the campus. Highest package -- 46 LPA(2021), Average package -- 6 to 7 LPA. Almost 90+ percent of students are placed. After getting my degree I want placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is very high when we compare it to the NORTH colleges. But the fee hike policy is very bad always they are focused on increasing fees. The scholarship is guaranteed for only Karnataka State students. Here the students of other states have to pay almost 2.5 times more fees than the Karnataka State students.
Campus Life
Halcyon is the only major fest. Spandana is the Kannada fest of SIT. The library is quite big having 3 floors full of all facilities for sitting and studying and you can use it anytime. Classrooms are just the same as the school. The extra curricular activities are not good in this college. The is nothing like college life. Almost 10 clubs are there in the college but they are not that good. The students have to prepare themselves for all the things.
