Remarks

I took VTUEEE ( Vel tech university Engineering Entrance Exam) and got through the exam with a 75% scholarship. I opt for B.Tech Civil for which the eligibility of the course was 50% aggregate in PCM.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty-student ratio is okay. The faculties are well qualified and friendly. The overall teaching methods are quite good. We have 2 unit tests, and 2 mid-term tests before appearing for the end-semester exam.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 86750 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many internships are available at our university. During our final year, students can opt for an intensive semester and go for internships in different companies. To get an intensive semester, the student must have no back paper and must clear the courses within the 7th semester

Placement Experience

Students can opt for placement starting from 2nd year if they are interested. Campus to corporate will add you to placements if you're interested. Many companies visit our university including Amazon, intellect, cognizant, etc. the highest package was from Amazon with 25LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is great in comparison to other institutions. The scholarship is a great way to help out your parents too. The overall cost of the study is manageable. There are many campus job opportunities and if you are interested you can opt for placement they'll inform all the placements available

Campus Life

Festivals and functions are conducted 5/6 times a month. There's an annual festival called LAVAZZA held every year. During our first year, they provide books and also books are available in the library.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are top-notch. They have one of the best mess halls in comparison to the amount paid by us. We have veg and nonveg mess hall which we can swap without any cards. We get Chicken 6 days a week and Saturday is veg for all.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

Before admitting in Vel Tech, I've applied in Quaid E Millath, Queen Mary's College, Nandanam Arts college, Presidency college.I chose Veltech over these because It helps me financially and academically.Even though i had less marks Veltech admitted me. Yes I did get a rejection from other colleges due to my less performance in 12th Standard. It happened because of my medical issues. Admission process in Vel Tech was so simple and Neat First they will be asking for the following Aadhar 10th, 11th, 12th Mark Sheets 12th Certificate TC certificate Caste Certificate Income Certificate Bonafide (if necessary) And then we are requested to pay the full fee amount I joined through management quota. Firstly I haven't got good marks in my APEAMCET exam and next thing is I came to know that my relatives sons have also graduated from the Vel tech University.
