Entrance Preview

I haven't done any exams since its a Bachelor degree. But, the admin people was conducted face to face interview to select the student. The reason behind i joined is, this college is giving the life training than the education. There was a full day activity in this college and its a compulsory hostel. So, you need to be available in the campus for the whole day.

Course Curriculum Overview

The major stress is given to Accountancy papers. There are six semesters totally in the three years period. The course makes us understand what actually Commerce is and also gives a great knowledge about all those business studies. BBA is said to be the best course in my college.

Campus Life

The campus life is a pleasant experience every working day. Being a Co-ed college, Amritsar college of engineering and technology is gfilled with both guys and girls in 60:40 ratio. Cultural events takes place very frequently rejoicing the students. Sports competition happen very occasionally like say, once in a year.

Hostel Facilities

I'm not a hosteler and doesn't have any idea about the hostel fees. But my friends who stay in the hostel had said that the rooms are not so bad, but the hostel food sucks. The students are allowed to visit their hometown once in a month and also are permitted to take leave during festival times.

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Faculty

Highly qualified faculties all around except for few staff, who aren't that good in teaching. Those few even lack in proper English communication. But not to blame all, there are few teachers who give their best to the students like me. Over-all standard is good when compared to other colleges

My Academic Experience at Lovely Professional University.

Placement Experience:

The placements are okay for the BBA and MBA departments. The average salary isn't actually that good for the students and most of the roles that companies come for hiring do not target the desired roles of the students.

Lovely professional university- BBA PROGRAMME

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for placements from 3rd semester and they can opt for extra classes on saturday specially designed for placements.there are a lot companies that conduct recruitment drive at LPU such as Deloitte, EY, capgemini, cognizant, amazon, microsoft etc. and LPU aims at 100% placement.The highest package till date is of 3 CR and the average ctc goes around 7 to 8 lpa.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Digital Marketing is a new course in the year 2021 after covid. It was the first batch. They give admissions to everyone that's why I was able to take admission. there were two mst's per semester and regular assignments. They improve every year.

My genuine experience feedback about LPU as a LPU student.

Placement Experience:

The placements of LPU is quite good as compared to other University I am doing my integrated BBA MBA so the median package of integrated BBA MBA is 7 lpa the average package is 13 LPA and the highest package is 49 LPA. which is fine return on investment is quite good and we also get a good opportunity to get placements as well as internships within the campus there are around 400 + recruiters came every year for MBA students with handsome packages. And I don't think so there is any company which came in LPU but the didn't hier any student.

Placement Experience:

1-After 6th semster students become eligible for campus placements for my subjects. 2-Amazon,flipkart,cap-gemini,decathelon,jp morgan, wipro,asianpaints,etc and offered package ranging between 5-20LPA. 3-HIGHEST PAKAGE OFFERED 49LPA, AVERAGE PACKAGE OFFERED 12-13LPA 4-AROUND 70-85% BEING PLACED. 5-MY PLANS ARE GETTING CAMPUS PLACEMENTS AFTER DEGREE WITH HIGHEST PACKAGE.

Good but jot enough

The admission process was quite easy , I had to visit the college with my 10-12 DMC and some personal identity verification photostat and 7 pictures of mine and the advance after they admit in their college was 10,000 and later when the session begin they took a clear fee of 45000 approx. The reservation benefits were not that much but the seats were ofcourse booked by the students before as they paid before for it. There is nothing like an extrance exam but is a scholarship test conducted on-line for locals to get some ressieson mentioned above. It is a noce easy experience tho....Read More
