Remarks

The process of admission is by Entrance test. After giving the entrance there is a merit and cutoff which usually goes between 45-60. The internal students who completed their previous education from the same institute have benefits in getting admission. The cutoff of internal students is made different.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choose Bachelor's in Commerce because I want to do a job in the corporate world for 2 to 3 years and after that, my long-term goal is to do business. In our faculty, there are around 300 students on b.com 200 boys and 100 girls. The teaching staff is well educated and they teach very well. The passing marks are 33% for passing.

Internships Opportunities

3

There are companies who took the students from the campus for the internship. The campus provides internships or students are also allowed to do an internship by themselves. There is an auto project and the club also in the ZHCET Department of AMU in which students build a Solar Racing car and won 1st prize in the whole north of India.

Placement Experience

4.5

From the final year, students are eligible to sit in campus placements. There are visited more than 150 companies including ByJus, amazon, jio etc and many more MNCs. I am not 100% sure but I think the highest package of this year is Rs 2 crores and the average package is 6 to 8 lakhs per annum. The percentage of students is more than 50% for placements. My plan is to do service in MNC for at least 2 to 3 years.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of a bachelor in commerce is around 7000 to 8000 varying in different years and different semesters. This is the whole year's fee. There are many scholarships available but the most common scholarship is National Scholarship (NSP) and Uttar Pradesh Scholarship (UP).

Campus Life

5

There are many fests, tech fests etc during the year. Our faculty have only 1 or 2 fests plus freshers and farewell parties. But there are 11 clubs including the University drama club, film club, eco club, debating and Literary club, Music club etc and they organise events at a very high level during the year. There are many libraries including one Central Library i.e Maulana Azad Library which is India's biggest Library. There are many sports available in the college including cricket, football, hockey, skating, basketball, swimming etc and there are events organised for every sport.

Interview Experience

2.5

No, I didn't face any group discussion or personal interview yet for qualifying for the entrance. Because in a bachelor's there is only a written test but in a master's, there is a written test, group discussion and then a personal interview. I will give GD and PI next year and I prefer coaching for the preparation because I don't have any experience yet.

Other Applied Colleges

Course Curriculum Overview:

The B.Com course curriculum in my college is quite relevant and well structured. It covers core commerce subjects like accounting, business studies, and economics, which helped me choose this course. The syllabus mainly focuses on building strong theoretical fundamentals, which is useful for students planning higher studies such as M.Com, MBA, or professional courses like CA. The curriculum prepares students reasonably well for academic purposes, but there is still scope for improvement in terms of real-world exposure. More practical learning, case studies, presentations, and industry interaction would make the course more skill-oriented and career-focused. The college follows the semester system with internal and external examinations conducted regularly. The exams are of moderate difficulty level. Students who attend classes regularly, complete assignments, and study consistently can pass and score good marks.
