My experience with Vignan

You have to clear 12th to be eligible for Engineering colleges. I have written EAMCET. And after the counselling process, I got into this college. I have not applied for this college separately. EAMCET has reservations for SC, BC, etc. Also, we get a fee reimbursement of 35000. I think the application form for those who wanted to apply will be available on the college website.

I chose this course because am passionate about it. For every 20 students, a counsellor will be assigned. They will be taking care of those students. Few of the faculty have M-tech qualified. And few PG. Teaching methods in 1st year are good. But later on, one has to self-study. After completing a unit, an assignment test is conducted. After completing 2 and a half Mid exams are conducted. Then prefinals. They are quite easy to pass.

The companies which offered internships are, Eunimart, Informatica, Energy tech global, etc My roles were front-end developer, software analyst, Software developer etc. Stipends were from 15000 to 30000 Major and minor projects are to be done. They are helpful for placements.

From the 5th semester, students are eligible for placements. There were many companies visited. They are TCS, Accenture, HCL, ADP, Global logic, Energy tech global, Delloite, epam systems, UST global, DXC, JIO, Byjus, and Amazon. Last time total number of offers was around 1000. I got 5 offers. The highest package was 21LPA in 2020. But this year it is 12lpa till now. The average package is 4LPA. Profiles offered are system engineer, assistant system engineer, software analyst, test engineer, tech support etc. More than 65 per cent of people get placed easily. I wanted to go for a job.

The 1st-year course fee for me was 93000. But I have applied for the scholarship. So 35000 will be reimbursed. You need to pay the remaining. But an extra amount of around 5000 will be charged (for Stationary fee, Library, CRT fee, NBA fee etc). I think there was a hike of 7000rs. The scholarship will be provided by the Telangana government. It is applicable only if you got the seat through EAMCET or ECET. This college is very good for placements. CSE students get a lot of opportunities. I got placed in a couple of companies. An average student could easily get placed.

The only problem with this college is... There will be no fests ( or very few like freshers, farewell). For the 1st year students, there will be an induction program. And every 3rd Saturday, small programs are conducted. The library is so good. Almost every book in the curriculum is available. Classrooms have projectors or window enabled TV with touch screens. The benches are very comfortable. We have sports tournaments. They will be intimated through a circular. Indoor and outdoor sports competitions are conducted. We have an art club and an NSS club.
