It was via the UP entrance exam. Then you have to apply for the college via the college website. The eligibility of the courses is different for each course, the information is available on the college website. Once you successfully apply and get shortlisted, the college admin team will connect with you.
Course Curriculum Overview
I was very much interested in the Electrical field since my class 11th and was excited to learn more that's why I applied for the course. There were around 15+ faculties in the department for 2 sections. They were high-quality teachers with relevant experience behind them. There were monthly exams and they were comparatively easy to pass.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for campus placements from Semester 7. There were many companies that visited ABES EC, to name a few tech m, Capgemini, TCS, etc. The highest package was 19 lacs per annum, the average package was 4 lacs per annum.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees were increased on a yearly basis, the reasons could be the type of subjects, lab requirements, and other costs involved. There were different scholarships by the college and even by the UP government. I was placed in Capgemini as an associate software engineer at a package of 3,15,000 INR per annum.
Campus Life
There were both annual fests and tech fests. The annual fest was called Genero and it was usually conducted in October. The library was very good. The classroom had smart TVs and ACS as well. Sports were very prominent.
