Entrance Preview

I took MAT entrance exam.My sister is an alumni of this college and she recommended me to opt this college. Admission process was based through offline. My interview was very detailed and the interviewer analyzed each and every aspect of my personality.

Course Curriculum Overview

I love Marketing and International business in the course curriculum. No need of improvement as it is pretty good. Annual fest should be held, Hygiene inside toilet and parking facility inside college are required.

Internships Opportunities

Internship and placements are done rigorously with lot of hardwork. Outlook, Birla, IDBI etc companies visited the campus for the internship and provide stipend 10k - 15k. More internships are required in the field of Market research.

Placement Experience

More than 25 companies visited the campus for the placement. Average package is Rs. 4-10 lac per annum. Good communication skills is desirable.

The Real Unbiased Truth of JIMS Kalkaji

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are average when compared with other B-schools of similar level. The companies which have visited so far for internships are mostly start ups like Wealth Blue and Outlook, but some other companies like ITC, Bajaj Capital and Coca Cola moon beverages have also come on campus. The highest stipend promised so far is 15,000 for 3 months or 10,000 per month for 2 months. A lot of students are yet to be placed, both for final and summer placements. My plan is also to get a job post my PGDM.

Compass provide a place the highest package our were born is 20 lakhs per annum from the Fite department and the average placement gets around 8 to 10 laks and the minimal is7-8 lakhs. The placement is good in sales and finance department. Most of the companies comes for sales and Management. You can also offer for the finance.

Good opportunity in JIMS

Placement Experience:

From 4th trimester onwards that if from August onwards after coming back from 3 months summer internships, companies come for placements and students can apply to the companies. The companies that visited campus are DELOITTE, KPMG, ACCENTURE,TCS, RANDSTAD,ICICI,SBI, MOTILAL OSWAL, BAJAJ, ASIAN PAINTS, ADITYA BIRLA, BLACKROCK, GRIDLINES etc. and many more. The highest package of our batch went for 24 lakhs( Oman based company) , average went around- 7-8 lakhs , lowest - 4.5-5 lakhs. Profiles offered- Sales head, operational manager, Deputy branch manager, Junior Analyst, Analyst, HR - talent acquisition team , underwriting team etc. Right now more than 80% of students have gotten placed and rest are in the placement process which will be till April. I have been placed in ICICI LOMBARD for Underwriting and Claims process and will be joining the company soon.
