Course Curriculum Overview

I like to study and work in the medical field and I love it There are now 9 faculties and 4 departments student: teacher ratio is 9:4 All facilities are bpharm, Mpharm levels and some members are PhD rank holders They contain good classes for students Exams are conducted three times a year as sessionals for the diploma courses and the main exam conducted by the board of diploma in pharmacy

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 43000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for the course dpharm take 75000 in the first year and 45000 for the management system and 43000 for Merritt and 42000 in the second year. Scholarship gets as MCM, post matric scholarship scheme etc Jobs in Pharmacy

Campus Life

There are many fests conducted by our college like arts, sports, Christmas events, Onam celebration etc are very enjoyable and memorable moments throughout the classes Sports are conducted in two days and all items will be conducted. Dcopz is a group run by diploma students

Admission

The eligibility for this takes a 12th pass with a good percentage in science There are many ways to apply for the purpose LBS and Merit seats are available and also a management system Varying fees for these three routes and lbs students have to pay fees around 43000 for the first year and 42000 for the second year

In approximately 6months semester 2months or more must be exams and it gives stressful time on these period but overall the curriculum easy and student friendly.based on the ex committee paper would be easy or medium difficulty.

My college experience

Placement Experience:

Amrita offers a good placement opportunities with different pharmaceutical companies like Cipla,Sun Pharma,etc. Eight semester students are eligible for campus placements. Cipla, Johnson and Johnson,Sun Pharma, Dr.Reddy,etc. I think the highest package was about 3,00,000/- per annum. 100% placement will be provided. I am aiming for further studies.

I choose this course because i like the chemical aspects and studies of drugs.the syllabus is pretty hard because of the frequent examinations.we have two internals and its university exams in just 6 month of time.so feels like very rush.but the syllabus is very vast.faculty could actually improve their method of teachings.

Remarks:

KVM College of Pharmacy has good infrastructure, built up in 1 acre. College provide transportation facility for its students coming from various locations. Those wheel transportation has to pay an additional fee. College has a library which has capacity of 100 students at a time. Library has subscription of various national and international journals. College also has a medical garden which is helpful for students during the practicals.
