Assessment of NIT Raipur

I choose the mining course because mining is a famous branch of NIT Raipur. Here placement ratio of mining is too good. Here all faculty are very helpful and knowledgeable. They are always ready to help you. Here the ratio of boys and girls is likely 60-40. All faculty are likely to have PhD degrees in the subject they taught. They taught us well so we can understand what they taught. They want to give all knowledge that they have. There are mid-semester exams and end-semester exams every semester. There are a total of 8 semesters in all b. tech degree and each semester have two exam mid and end semester. The question coming in these exams are from notes of teachers and what they taught to us. The difficulty we say is the average level of these exams. You have to score at least 35% of the topper of your batch to pass the semester exam.

Students are eligible for placements from the end of the 6th semester. Here different companies visited for placements like adobi, Siemen, Vedanta, info edge, TVs, virtusa, etc. Here highest package offered in 2022 is 55 lakh per annum for three students of computer science, IT and one from the mining engineering branch. Here average package offered is about 10-12 lakh per an annum Here placements percentage is also too good. About 76.75% of students are placed in good packages. My plan is to get a good placement from this college or to get a government job.

The fees of NIT Raipur are not so high. Here reservation is also available for the different cast groups. If you belong to OBC Or general or sc/st cast and your family income is less than 1 lakh then you will get full remission of the fee. Only hostel charges you have to pay. If you belong to the sc/st cast then you have also some remission in hostel charges. Here you belong to a minority group then you will get an NSP scholarship issued by the central government, or if you belong to OBC Or general then you will get a private scholarship.

Here campus life is too good. There are many fests organised inside the campus. There is an E-cell fest conducted in the month of December. Then a fest for sports called Samar was organised in the month of January. Then Avartan is organised in February. And last but not least Electrika fest is organised in the month of march. Here a central library is also available in the administration building. Many books for your syllabus are here. You can issue any books for study. Different sports and cultural activities are also organised on campus every month. Here, if you are interested in sports then you join sports groups and if you are interested in music then you join a raga group if you are interested in dance then you have to join nirtyam group etc. Different clubs and groups are made by students like if anyone is interested in the coding section then join a coding group or if anyone interested in the stock market or interested in finance discussion then you have to join finance discussion groups etc.

Here the hostel rooms are average good. Here you will get a bed and chair and a study table. A cupboard is also provided for you where you keep all your bags and essential things and your clothes. Wifi is also provided in the hostels. Here mess is good. The food in the mess is healthy and good in taste. Here are different menus of food for a different days. You will provide breakfast at 9:00 am and lunch at 1:00 pm then snacks in the evening and dinner at 9:00 pm. menu of food is decided by the mess committee of boys in the hostel. You have to register for the hostel till admission time. Here you have to pay 45000 for a one-year hostel charge including the mess charge. Hostel fees are affordable for everyone. Here the locality is too good. The market is very close so if you buy anything then easy to buy. You will also get here a pg facility in the locality. Here hostels are provided only rank-wise un jee main. So the probability of getting a hostel for everyone is less.

For getting admission to any NIT college you have to give jee main exam. Application details are available on ( jee main. nta. nic. in ) official website. About 650 rs is required for application fees of jee main of general or obc category. Sc/st category should pay some less amount than obc and general categories. The first attempt of jee main is taken in January every year so the application form for the first attempt is to be filled out in December. The second attempt is taken in April. In jee main exam General category has to achieve at least more than the 93 percentile to get into any NIT college and a good branch. For the OBC category have to achieve more than 89 percentile for getting a good branch in NIT college. For Sc/St category have to achieve more than 80 percentile for getting into NIT college. There is also a cutoff percentile of different categories a/c to 2022 General-88 OBC - 68 Sc-43 St-26. No, I don't want any improvement in the admission process.
