Course Curriculum Overview

The course and curriculum are very nice and then there are 8 semesters. The course is like 2 class tests and then 1 final exam. The course is nice with a lot of practical as well as theoretical learning.

Internships Opportunities

There are a lot of companies that come to campus during placement and internship season and the average package is around 12 lakh for production engineering. The coding atmosphere is very nice with many clubs.

Fees and Financial Aid

As it is a government college there is no fee hike and the fees are quite modest as compared to other institutions like BITS and IITs. The cost to study for 4 years is around 8-10 lakhs everything included and all.

Campus Life

The campus life is great as it is an 800-acre campus with lots to go around and the facilities are also very nice. Qs it is not in the middle of the city so there isn't much to do outside unless you go far away

Hostel Facilities

The hostels are quite nice. There are 2 people in every room and it is very comfortable. The meals given in mess are nice and there is also a choice of other south Indian or north Indian menus to choose from every month

Hostel Fee: INR 22000 per year

Admission

I was admitted through jee mains. Then we got our colleges through Jose and then we were admitted to this college. Jee form can be easily seen on the official website and the eligibility to get into NIT is a minimum of 75 percent in board exams.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

because of future is EV. So I will take the EEE for a bright future 50:1 ratio level. Faculty qualification is a minimum PG and most of the faculties are complete Ph.D. each unit has a unit test it is very easy only No difficulty to get a pass.

NIT Trichy In A Nutshell

I personally am from Maharashtra so for VNIT Nagpur I Would Have Got ECE(HS) But Is Prefered this college for its national importance and name....i Even was getting top maharashtra colleges from MHTCET.....I wasnt Able To Clear The Criteria In JEE Advanced to Get Into IITs And Hence Couldnt Go There....The 2nd paper went terribly wrong for me but now i am happy....We have the match the required criteria in jee mains to get this clg....also 75% in boards is inportant for Gen and OBC and For SC ST it is 65%....Then Go Through a very very long admission process named JOSAA then CSAB(if you want to upgrade your seat) Then Pay The Fees And Report Physically...Read More
