I choose the course because I m interested in accounts and I have many options to do in my life like to start a business and the teachers are always the best knowledgeable The passing marks of our courses are 40% per semester

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 15000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure per year is 5100 and the duration is 3 years 15300. The scholarship of college is given by Swami Vivekananda and minorities per year 12000 and if your marks are above 60 percent per year then you reduce the form

Our college side has fresher party and foundation day The availability of book in our college is good and the library are also good The classroom has neat and clean We have a ground and sports annual day for our college football and cricket game etc

Eligibility of our courses above 60% to take admission in b.com Hons You find the application form on online portal of college and the fess is 5150 per year and admission portal starts bu cu in July

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

The aspects of the curriculum which really influenced my decision was building the foundation of accounting to holding expertise, which was aligned with my goal of studying CA. The curriculum used to be upto date which give us a real time exposure. The exam used to take place in every 3 months.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

I was selected to most of the universities except one that is Goenka as it was having a higher eligibility criteria which I couldn't able to meet.
