Course Curriculum Overview
Mechanical engineering is the best branch at BIT Sindri and the lab and everything related to this branch are top-notch in my college. The faculty members are too helpful they support from every perspective. The main cons of this college are a gender ratio of 10/1 gender ratio. Every faculty of my college is on the Ph.D. side and they are well experienced. They teach very well. And every student has a myth that in state government colleges the examination is not on the time but here examination is on the time.
Internships Opportunities
The internship is provided by the college. In the mechanical branch, one company provide internship and that is TATA steel. But in CS and IT many more internship opportunities. If I talk about the best branch in terms of placement then that branch is in METALLURGY BRANCH.
Placement Experience
In this college students are eligible for placement in 3rd year they get PPO from many company sides. This year more than 300 companies come to my college. In the mechanical branch, the placement percentage is 80 % The highest placement offered in my branch is 11lpa and the average is 6lpa. Cons- there is a lack of exposure in this college. The surrounding is like a rural area. Sindri is located 20-25km away from Dhanbad. And if you think that the placement is like IIT, NIT and some top private colleges then you are wrong here company visits but they offer placement around 6-to 7 LPA. Pros- ROI is better side.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure of this college is on the worth it side. The fee structure of this college is 7000/year. And the hostel fee is also 7000/year. the mess fee is 4000/month. The scholarship is provided by the college such as e Kalyan scholarship and many more. Placement opportunities- In recent placement opportunities improved very well. If I talk about the placement of the 2022 batch a student grabs 28lakh from google and the second highest gets from Microsoft. In the mechanical branch, the top recruiters are Tata steel, Vedanta, Adani group, and Aditya Birla group. Campus Life
Campus life is too enjoyful at this college. In the first-year hostel basically, the 5student live in one room and in starting time you will face ragging from the senior student but only for a few months after that everything just gets normal here the ragging is marked overhyped by the student by it is not as such. Here is the one central library and you will find every book in my college. And the classroom is well but you can't compare them to IIT. There are many clubs in my college like MODEL CLUB, ROTARY CLUB and many more. The main cons of this college are there is no annual fest organized by the college but tech fest is celebrated in this college every month.
Admission
Firstly, BIT Sindri takes admission based on JEE Mains rank if you have 95percentile then you will get CSE in this college and if your score is less than 90percentile then you have a higher chance to get mechanical engineering. This college also takes admission thorough jcece counseling.
