Course Curriculum Overview
Our batch is under the affliction of Osmania University. So the syllabus is given by the University. The syllabus is quite good but it is still old compared to current technology. Now the college got autonomous status the syllabus has changed quite a lot now the syllabus is very rich with current-day technologies. Only a few faculty are good and there are only some who are Ph.D. holders. Rest all the lectures are mostly half knowledge. We have a 20:1 student ratio We have 2 mid sem exams per semester and 2 semester-end exams for a year.
Placement Experience
There were very good placements for the 2022 passed-out batch. Altogether we got 1100+ offers with more than 600 students got placed. The average package was 4 lakhs per annum and the highest package was 16 lakhs per annum. I am sure I would also get a decent package and do the job.
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fee is 125000 and an additional fee of 6500 towards the University fee. There is a scholarship that would be provided by the state government. If you got EAMCET rank below 10000 then you can get full fee reimbursement based on your income. If your rank is above 10000 and your income is less than 300000 then you can get a scholarship of 350000. This scholarship is provided only if you got a seat through EAMCET counseling.
Campus Life
There is one fest conducted annually named Sangam which is mixed of both tech and cultural fest. We have a huge Library with an availability of more than 10,000 books and it has more than 100 seating capacity. Classrooms are normal size and each classroom has 66 students. We have a good nice sports room with 100 player capacity. There are many active clubs like photography, dance, and some tech clubs.
Admission
My admission was based on the EAMCET examination and the EAMCET exam is the only mode of admission, which is a state-level engineering entrance examination. I have secured 8084 ranks so by the rank I have got allotment in BE(ECE) course. In my year the cut-off rank for my course is around 8500(open category) rank. Similarly for other courses, too one has to give EAMCET exam but the cut-off ranks vary for different branches. But if you have a reservation the cutoff would be much lower in the same year the cut-off rank for the BC category was around 15000 and for SC/ST was 30000. So reservation would be a big plus
