Course Curriculum Overview

Course structure of my University is very good along with the extra curriculum activities happened in our college on regular basis. I enjoyed as a part of this college and learnt so many things from my college. I am feeling excellent that i was part of this college.

Internships Opportunities

No, my college is not providing internship or not paying stipend to any of the students. First when I joined college I thought that the NCC students are getting paid for their work.

Placement Experience

There were no college campus job post completion of Graduations from the college. In my batch no one is aware of the College campus job. Even I am also unaware of the same about college campus jobs placement. If they would provide the same then it will be easier for us to start our career gently.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, Scholarship or loan facility fees is available from our college as they studies are cheap and affordable for all. So, loan facility is not required.

Campus Life

I enjoyed playing carrom and table tennis in my college general room. I also be part of my College library so many times learnt so many things there with my friends. Sometimes we were kick out from the library as we were too talkative, but that is also giving us memories as we are the part of this college.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

My mysterious college life

I got selected for other colleges too for this course . But I took admission in this college over any other colleges because of the faulty that I have heard from my brother . Another reason is the location. Yes it's the another reason as it's really easy to find out this college . And our college is just 1 min away from the metro station gate no 3. And any bus is available from that place . The college rating is also good . I got rejected from 1 particular college but I've no regret for that .
