Remarks
The college is really good. The students here have a healthy variety and everyone shares an awesome rapport. However, the management can be a lot better. Every event requires the organizers to run from place to place for all sorts of permissions and approvals and what not.
Entrance Preview
I chose this college because MIT Group of Institutions has a very good reputation all over the city and has recognition on a national level as well.
Placement Experience
The college placement record is very good. Of all the students, about 80% of people were eligible for the job interviews. 90+% of the eligible students were placed in a variety of companies. The companies who come for recruitment include Accenture, Deloitte, ADP, CapGemini, Blue Star, Mercedes, Infosys, IBM, nvidia, HP, HSBC, ZS Associates etc.
Hostel Facilities
The college hostel facilities are exceptionally good. The mess food too good. The hostel rooms are shared. The girls hostel is in the campus but the boys hostel is outside the college premises. The condition of the boys hostel is also good.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni stay in touch with the college. The college organizes alumni meets for student interaction. The Alumni Meets are especially very helpful for the students to understand the industry from their seniors point of view. The Alumni Association sometimes funds a few events in the college.
Faculty
Maximum of the faculty in the college is well qualified and experienced. However, qualification doesn't mean teaching is their cup of tea. Out of let's say 10 teachers, hardly 3 are genuinely intelligent and are able to convey their knowledge to the students in an engaging manner.
