Course Curriculum Overview
frankly speaking, I did not choose the course I wanted IT but due to my rank I got ece but yeah this is also interesting. the faculty-student ratio is about 8:1 which is not good .but yeah the teachers are highly qualified though some of them are not good at teaching but have deep knowledge of their subject. exams are not difficult if you study a week ago you can pass easily.
Placement Experience
students after the seventh semester are eligible for placements and our college has a dedicated placement cell. which provide good opportunities for students in the year 21-22 total offers were 434 and the total number of companies visited was 50+. and the average CTC was 7.69 and the highest package was 45 LPA by amazon. and about 70% of the total students were placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
the fee of the course is 1 lakh per annum which is moderate and there is an increment of 10% every year. but they provide different types of scholarships which you can avail and they have different categories of students in which they take around 5 students from each department and provide them a full scholarship. the placements of the college are decent many companies come for campus hiring.
Campus Life
our annual fest is gun which is conducted usually in January. we have a large library we got every book whichever we want. and we also have a club for sports and they are very dedicated to their work. there are several groups and one of them is Rotaract.
Admission
the eligibility is that you should have 75% marks in 12. and the admission is taken based on ranks of jee mains. you can find the application form on the JAC Chandigarh portal. and there are many types of different reservations so research carefully if you may lie in some category.
