Remarks

The beautiful campus, inspiring faculty, the rigorous course gives everything you want to walk out as a fulfilled person. The overall reputation of this college is very high and same can be said for MBA department.Gender ratio seems to be healthy around the campus

Entrance Preview

I took the CAT exam to qualify myself for top B -School to pursue a course in Management. With my background in literature I had two choices before me.One was to proceed in the field of literature or to study MBA. MBA was a gateway to the corporate world. it gave me an opportunity harness my communication skill, people skills.

Placement Experience

Placement at GNVSIOM are very good . The average package is of around 4.5 lakhs. However the placement percentage is above 50%. Last year highest placement was 9 lakhs and lowest was 3.5 lakhs. Most of the companies visiting are IT companies of startups.

Campus Life

The student population is diverse in terms of culture, language, age, educational background. The girls ratio is quite equal.There are many activities, presentations, knowledge forms and industry that keeps happening.The college organizes alumni meet in every two years. In addition seniors who are placed in high capacities are invited to share their experience and motivation to the juniors.

Faculty

The faculty is one reason enough for you to choose this college. In all the streams we have atleast 2 professors who have studied and worked in the worlds top best B Schools like Harvard, Stanford .There are many visiting faculty who work with the industry in top capacities.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

To be honest there are placements but the placements are like no one want to be there it is just something unacceptable for the HR students . The promises the long talks are all false and they doesn't focus on students future and career rather they care for just attendance

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. I would definitely recommend this college to the upcoming students those who are planning to do MBA in order to achieve goals and learn quality skills.
